OK--my idea from the beginning was if you had a wedding or a reception or whatever, that we Cherries need to be there. At a couple of weddings I have been to they have had fir trees as a symbol of everlasting growth. Put a tree somewhere and we need to send you the angels to watch over your new lives together!!!!

Maybe we could each send our avis on a chipboard tag so it can be hung or clipped on a tree or a bush, or something along those lines? And Jules could wear her red dress!

I would LOVE help planning! I have never really planned a wedding and don't have a clue how to! It won't be big....basically very close friends and family, but with the size of my family, that adds up already!

That's what I want mine to be, too... and my dad has 6 brothers and sisters + their offspring, so I'm sure I won't get away with it being as small as I would really want.

Do you have any colors or themes in mind? I'm personally digging the peacock trend. :P

I too love the peacock look...here is my DD at her prom 3 years ago...her dress was gorgeous! She worked very hard to buy it...I could/would never be able to spend that $$ but she really wanted it and IMO deserved it... and put in a lot of OT at Dunkin Donuts tpo pay for it!


Can I help plan??? I love this stuff!!! Congrats Nancy...you only live once go for it! I missed an opportunity to at least test the waters with someone I always dreamed about and regert it ever since... you deserve to be happy!

Aww, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!! So happy for both of you! It really sounds like you both have found the other half you have been missing! My friend and boss at the studio feels this way too. She was in a mental abussive marriage for sooo long. when she divoriced this man she had a hard time dating for a while, always expecting to be treated exactly the way she had before. She finally has connected with someone who treats her the way a man should treat a woman. They connected in so many ways, both with experience with wrong mates. Whithin a few weeks they already felt they had known each other for many years, and are more content then they have ever been.
Again congrats to both of you! And I love the Avie tag idea!!

Congrats nancy! I am so happy for you! My hubby and I started dating in January and were married that August so I do not think you are rushing things. Everyone thought we were and we will be married 5 years in August.

Oh Nancy, congratulations!!! I am SO happy for you!!!!!!!When you have found "the one" you know, and time means nothing. My hubby and I fell in love over the internet and he moved to the other side of the country to be with me after seeing each other only once. We are beyond happily married and I have no doubt that you will be too. You deserve all the happiness in the world girl!! I can't wait to see pictures!! wow congrats. My parents only knew each other for a few months before getting engaged and married. The celebrated 45 years in December. Time doesn't mean much when you know.
