so you want to know all about clustering...well really it isn't as hard as it looks
1. put all the lements you would like on your page {if you are using paper don't glue them down yet}
2. for the digi gals, duplicate and resize some of the same elements
3. now take and arrange the elements the way you want them on your page {paper girls, don't glue yet }
4. now put your pictures where you want them and rearrange your elements to your liking
5. I like to put elements in between my letters and around my photos and border of page {for the paper gals, you can take your elements off the page as well, just cut them where they woudl overlap your paper}
6. paper gals ...GLUE GLUE GLUE!
7. digi gals, arrange and resize yoru elements to your liking
8. VIOLA...clustering done!
here is an example
I took the ribbon through my letters and then took and placed flowers and other elements throughout my title and under and over the photos
here I just arranged the different houses, leaves and other elements around my photograph
another example I just kept piling and piling on the elements down the left side of the page until it was pleasing to the eye....then I repeated a few of those elements on the right side of the page to give you a balanced look....
so give it a try!!!!

You're clusters are always wonderful! And you make it sound so easy, lol, but I guess having the right 'eye' (and elements) is a big part of it!
Ok - I worship you... you are Clustering Queen! Thank you for trying to teach those of us (me) that suffer from complete lack of clustering.
I will try the tricks--anything to get better!! Thanks so much for sharing these examples. I am going to cluster my next title!!!

Overlapping is difficult for me. I love all my scrappy stuff and want to show it off. To cover it up seems to defeat that purpose. But, I will try.

I love your clustering! One of my all time favorite layouts is from a clustering class you did during a crop. Thanks for the tips!
