Thank you. You are all so special. I had to take some time away from ACOT and it was lonely while I was gone. I have made friends here that I can't believe I ever lived without.
Today a little thing happened but it would not have happened without the wonderful people here.
I went over my fundraising goal for the St. Jude Children's Hospital fundraising race. Running 13.2 miles is tough but it is made so much easier knowing that I have the support of generous people here at ACOT. If you donated, you know who you are. If you've encouraged me to get out there and run, you know who you are. And, I just want to publicly thank everyone who has done that for me.
Life isn't lived in the computer, it isn't lived in big events, it isn't lived sitting in my craft room (or yours), it is lived in each little moment and in how we support and care for each other. For each moment, for each caring thought - I thank you.
Ahhh----- finally a happy post...without a goodbye in it!
Seriously, congratulations on your race and your goal! Just wait, soon you will be going for the 26.2! I haven't run one in a couple years---but the marathon bug is starting to bite again!
Congratulations!

How awesome Rachel!! Congratulations! You are truly amazing!!

As a fellow half-marathoner (who is on the injury reserve list), I know the feeling of crossing the finish line. I always do it in tears & I can't imagine completing a half with a specific cause in the forefront of the run. You are a rock star!
Congrats on meeting your goal!!!
