A Cherry on Top is so excited to have Jenni Bowlin here for our October crop! She is an amazing designer, and her products are vintage and classy. Her designs are timeless. Shabby, chic, yet perfect for all kinds of scrapbooking and projects.
I was lucky enough to meet her at CHA one summer, and she is as wonderful in person as her designs are. She even let me take a picture with her, which I proudly display in my office. Her embellishments get a special place in my room, separate from all the others...
Jared sent me a project that was done with the new papers and the cigar box...isn't it fabulous?
So, with that being said, I would love to extend a warm welcome to Jenni Bowlin! Thank you for joining us!
Hello Jenni, and welcome to the ACOT. It will be nice to get to know more about you.
Welcome from all of here at ACOT
WAS a TIKI BAR GIRL AND ALWAYS WILL BE
Hello all! I'm here - thanks so much for having me - I am honored that you would ask me to join you! Just shoot some questions or comments whenever you are ready (and just an FYI that my spelling may not be perfect - my brain is faster than my fingers)!
Welcome to ACOT Jenni!
welcome Jenni
Welcome! So... where do you get your inspiration / what inspires you? And what's your favorite craft to do yourself?
Hi from the Northeast Jenni!
Jenni, How long have you been designing scrapbooking products and where does your ideas/inspiration come from?
What is your favorite holiday to design for?
Wow Pezkat - that was 3 in 1!
First of all, I am most deeply inspired by old things, history. Everything I do creatively seems to come from something old I have seen or touched - a piece of lace, an old button, etc. That's why I have so many open containers in my studio so I can see everything, all the time.
As far as what craft I am doing right now - that's a good question! I have really been in a slump lately - too busy to create. Owning your own business that involves your "hobby" is both a blessing and a curse. I'm hoping that in December I can find some time to create again, just for fun. I try not to schedule anything in that month - it's sacred!

What is your favorite product/line that you have designed?
What are the 'pressures' you feel being part of this business?

Hello!
So, should scrapbookers be concerned about so many of these companies combining - like American Crafts is doing? Does that impact you as a designer?
