They are like a journal from what I see. You can write and put pics etc...in them. They are cool. They also have cards (journaling cards white, brown etc...) and other embellishments (rubber bands - smash bands as they are called) so you can embellish them and make them your own...just a grown up journal basically. I just ordered some here and I pre-ordered a few from my lss. They are great for teens...bought a couple for graduation gifts. I just happened to be browsing the new section here at ACOT on Memorial Day and saw there were a few left. They are sold out now... can't wait for more accessories to come in

Here is a video that came out a couple of months ago. There are a lot of cool accessories and a date stamp that you can buy too. They are great for kids and teens because the pen has a glue stick on the other end so you can use it as a scrapbook. My daughter wants to use it for all her memories this summer before going to college. I also bought her one for her dorm. Here is the link

They would be perfect for a trip...such fun. It would be great for her to have in the back seat of the car, she can put memories in it as she goes. My 11 yr old is taking one to summer camp and they have quiet time before bed so she is going to work on it every night. Also she can have friends she meets at camp put their info in it.

My 9yo LOVES having a journal all the time. She's filled up about 6 or 7 so far...and she just started in Kindergarden! LOL

My ACOT order arrived today and I got 2 smash books. They are awesome...much bigger than the pictures. The pages are cute and it's well made. I pre-ordered 2 more and a bunch of accessories from my lss...can't wait to give them as gifts to my teens and pre-teen.

I asked a local scrapbook store owner yesterday if she was going to be carrying these...she jsut said "I don't know...i don't know." I wondered too if that was the store -- it doesn't surprise me one bit that it was! My friend and I live about an hour north and south of Saginaw, so we used to sometimes meet there for a day to scrap and chat. They used to be a great store, but it seems like the last couple of times we cropped there we felt like they were just putting up with us and if we asked a question, they didn't know the answer, even if it was something store related. (Like when I asked if they were doing away with the inks because they only had three or four colors and lots of empty rack space. She didn't know. I assumed they were getting ready to go out of business and that's why she couldn't give me any sort of answer. I see now that is just a standard response!)
We haven't been to there since they first moved and did away with their crop space and I don't think we're going to go looking for their new location -- I'd rather go a bit farther to the one in Midland or have my friend come down to Flint or Brighton.

I second the one in Midland...
i never get the urge to go to Peddler. they don't turn over product enough for me. I really want the red smash book. I think I'll order it from ACOT when it comes back. got some gift cards to burn up. =)
