I used to work for our civic center in the catering department. Steven Curtis Chapman was in concert and I got to cater his dressing room! I met him and his family and actually have a picture with him somewhere! So cool. I felt so darn special! lol

Long john bauldrey patted me on the head looked at me and said " you are a wee little thing arnt you" then got on one knee and put his scarf on my shoulders. He was 7 ft 3 , I am 4 ft 10 lol. I still have that scarf 30 years later

I got to meet Bruce Hornsby when I was a kid. My brother's Godmother was one of the people who managed him so we were able to go to a concert and then go backstage. I remember it as very cool.

I met Alice Cooper, I had backstage passes. He was so nice, posing for pictures and autographing tons of stuff for us. He was so awesome!

I sat 2 seats away from Little Richard on a plane to Orlando. He STUNK like booze and I couldn't wait to get off the plane! I guess he wasn't "big" enough for first class! It was a Southwest flight!

I've never met a band, singer, group....just not a groupie!!! I suppose it comes from being raised with friends who's Dad's were astronauts in the '70's and despising the crap of press and onlookers experiences. At 10-12 years of age it got old real quick.

I got to go back stage at a Rush concert, I had back stage passes for Bon Jovi but we got lost going to the concert so I missed out on that, although I still had my front row seats for that show so I did grab Jon Bon Jovi. I also got to party with Lars from Metallica!
I met a group called Heaven's Edge when they had just released their first album... don't know if they are still around, it was a lomh time ago my sil works for one of our local places that holds concerts and she has seen a lot (lucky girl!)

I went to see B.B. King in Savannah, and after the concert I saw a line of people standing at a bus. It was his bus so I stood there, got on the bus and sat and talked with him for 30 mins. XDH and I were the last people in line, and XDH Mom is from the same town as B.B. My DSis (both of them) got to meet Huey Lewis!! I should find that pic and scrap it!!

I met the members of Three Dog Night. After their concert they signed autographs. They performed downtown at a street festival.
