Was it just my husband (his words) and myself, who thought the Queen looked like a giant marshmallow Peep today? I don't think yellow is her color!
Laura
I think she would of done better in a more pastel yellow.
Ok - that cracked me up

Queen Mum - Grammy to Princess Bump (Lisa Giann) and Princess Bean (Gia Bella)
So funny! I actually commented that she Always seems to wear yellow!! But I agree not necessarily her color!

hehe, I agree, yellow is NOT her color!!! Maybe if it was a light yellow. And why does the hat have to be the SAME exact color???? My heavens, you need to break it up a bit. She's getting old, Liz is
I liked her coat and hat. Yellow is my favorite color, but I also liked the style. But the Queen always looks like a marshmellow.

I saw a photo of her in a red and grey outfit and it really brought out her color. She also looks good in royal blue...you would think if you were Queen you would have a stylist who could tell you these things!

I don't think they are allowed to tell her anything that isn't flattering.Art_Teacher wrote:I saw a photo of her in a red and grey outfit and it really brought out her color. I thought she looked pretty good for her age - although a little peepy to me.
I thought she was cute. She reminded me of my late grandmother who was small in stature.

I love her no matter what she does. She has been unconventional in her day too . . . . . daring to have 4 kids just because she wanted them! lol And 2-3 weeks ago, William confessed he was a bit overwhelmed and nervous, soooooooooo two days later, "grannie" drops in on her grandson at work (he is in the military lol) and spent the day with him to help him get over his nerves. Yeah yellow might not be her color but oh well . . . . . proud grannie probably figures no one would be looking at her anyhow.
oh and, meow, meow, anybody notice what the ugly stepmom was wearing to the wedding (that would be Camilla) :-D

Yeah, Charlene, I know. It just seemed a little too yellow all over for me, considering her stature. Camilla did indeed wear a hideous dress. Guess that is why Britain is the not the fashion capital of the world! LOL!

LOL!! Amber I agree she seems to have a disapproving look on her face, but maybe being serious is protocol for the Queen.
My dh came home and committed that the Queen looked like a giant Pacman, then DS agrees and says "and the Kate is the ghost following her."
But to tell you the truth I liked her outfit as I love the color yellow also.

Life is good, and even better when the SUN is shining!
haha! Yeah she sort of did! She looked great next to the ring bearers in the red and yellow strips, but alone...yup, big squishy peep!
