Onto page 1! Now the fun is getting started!
I used to different patterns for my first page. I like to be frugal so I cut only what I would need.
This is the second pattern I used for my first page.
After both papers are chalked and glued, this is what you have:

I like the idea of using 2 on one page. I am going to copy your idea. I am making it for my mil's bday but we are going to take special pics of the boys holding happy bday Grammy signs.
Next, EMBELLISHMENT!
Once again, I used my handy dandy circle punch to punch the flower paper. I also inked the edges of both the circle paper and the cs sticker. Glue the floral sticker down and adhere the cs sticker using a pop-dot or some other dimensional adhesive.
Next, I just added some rick-rack to cover the seam.
Next, I grabbed a flower and my chalk and lightly chalked it to give an "aged" sort of look. I suck at painting and stuff, so this technique works perfect for me!
This will be the flower center. I just used a button and some twine.
This is the finished flower.
Finally, put it all together.
I used pop dots to adhere my photo. I love dimension when it comes to these things.

Awesome! I really like mixing patterns and color. It adds a lot of visual interest to the album and still gives each page it's own personality.

I don't have all my supplies out so I will lurk today but loving this so far!

Just to give you guys a heads up, if I suddenly disappear for a moment, it's because I'm having to sign back in. For some reason, I'm getting kicked off the server.

For page 2, we will be using different patterns and recycling a piece of the packaging from the paper kit!
Once again, cut your paper to size and punch the hole. (I forgot to take a pic after I punched the hole.)
Here's where you'll need that packaging:
Since I only need a strip of paper, why hack into a whole piece? Just use the strip from the cover page of the paper pack!
Once you get your strip cut, go ahead and adhere it to the page.
Next, I wrote my caption onto a cs sticker.

You have to clear your cookies, you can do it just before signing in, it helps
Ah! Thanks!

Finally, using some ribbon, twine, and a button from my stash, I glued it all on. The caption sticker is pop dotted and my photo is wallet size. I also used a red pen and doodled little designs on the corners of the page.

You are welcome, I have had the same trouble until I noticed the hint just before loggin again
Page 3 is super easy!
Once again, cut your paper to size and punch the hole. I'm sensing a pattern! Are you?
This is really all there is to this page. I just used a round corner punch to punch the corners of my photo. I cut the image from one of the pp's and used simple black photo corners to adhere it. I pop dotted a few of the letters in the title to give it some depth and interest. As for the "That's Swell!", that is one of the cs stickers from this line...which I pop dotted (of course!)!
A personal side note: This one was my hubby's favorite page!!
