The one I get the most cuz it's tasty and cheap is called RELAX ($11 CDN). I drink the white and it is tasty! I also like one called MOOSELAND, this is a bit more in cost ($15 CDN) but very tasty as well. And I also like this brand called Trivente. They are an Argentine wine and are cheap and tasty! The one I like the most never seems to be in the store though. haha!

Have fun!

Oh, and I want some of that california wine too Chrissy! haha! :-D

Sweet wines is what I like too - I started with Reislings, I like Ice Wine but it seems to be really expensive, and I recently discovered Moscato d'Asti and I've tried 3 different brands and loved them all (and it's not expensive, big bonus, lol).

Oh I have tried that Moscato and it is delish!

I think I NEED some of that RELAX, but I live in PA, and we have stupid antiquated liquor laws here. you can only get what is in the state stores, and are not allowed to have liquor shipped to your house. dont think they have RELAX here. that's great though, because that's why I drink wine!
lol...I would have to move.
We will bring some to CHA. We load up her van with food and drink :) and drink :) and drink :)

(oh, and adhesive and paper cutters)

I know RIGHT! it never used to bother me until I moved to Arizona and found out that there are some places where you can ... *gasp* ... buy wine in the grocery store!

how much easier that would make my life! I hate having to make a special trip to the liquor store. and even worse - they sell beer at a totally different store! groceries in one, liquor and wine in another, and beer in another. luckily I rarely buy beer. but still, it's just STUPID!
You can buy wine in the grocery store here in Michigan too. I never knew there were states where you can't! lol

I like fruit wine made by a friend at his winery in Muskegon....he is licensed to sell it commercially. You can get it directly at his own store, called Clay Avenue Cellars, or a few select small grocery store/specialty stores. My favorites are the strawberry wine and the pear wine.[/quote]

I am only about 30-40 min from Muskegon, might have to try to get out there to get some.

Re: what is your favorite brand of wine?
Keeping with the above post, Texas has some pretty weird laws on alcohol, too. If you live in a large city, it is more normal. Liquor stores, grocery stores, convenience stores have beer, etc.

A county can choose to do some pretty weird stuff. Brazoria County, where our other house is, kept one of the dry rules. If you go to a restaurant or club you have to buy a membership to order anything with alcohol. Some counties are still dry. Take for instance Texas Tech University is in Lubbock and the county is dry. Tech has the highest rate of STD's of any college in the nation. Seems the kids there like a different extra-curricular activity.
