One of my bffs and I really enjoy Fat Bastard (i know that is what made us buy the first bottle plus we liked the little hippo) we buy the Shiraz. Its not too expensive and its really good. (no headaches either)

The Barefoot wines are around $6 a bottle here and I have been pleasantly surprised. Try the Pinot Grigio. It is fresh, fruity, and dryer than the Riesling or Moscato. Not oaky like Chardonnay, though. Also, the Shiraz, Merlot, and even the Cabernet are pretty good, dryer reds. I think the YellowTail has gone down in quality lately. Maybe it has to do with the weather in Australia.

I prefer red wine, from Chile, South Africa, Australia or California. They are not so heavy and doesn´t taste of oak.

I had a glass of that last night. It is light and not too sweet. Perfect for when I prepare dinner.

Have you tried the Barefoot champagne ... that's really good. I'll have to try the reisling and see how I like it.


Another good one is Silver Lake Reisling. It's a Washington State wine as well as the Snoqualamie Naked I mentioned earlier.



Can you see a pattern here.... my favorite type is reisling.



Don't do red wine ... tastes icky to me.

I prefer sweet wines. My favorite is from a local winery in Missouri. They are from the St. James Winery and are call Velvet White and Velvet Red.

Are we sisters!! My wine fridge is full of these yummies!

I like Reunite! Olive Garden serves it as a house wine, but it's cheap at the Krogers. I've bought it in the little bottles in a 4 pack. One bottle is a perfect glass of wine.


There was another one I bought at Kroger that I really liked but I don't remember the name. It was in a frosted bottle. I'd love to find those that Christina was talking about!

Cupcake is the only wine my friend drinks....I like it too. My DH and I love New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs..some good reasonably priced ones that we drink a lot are Kim Crawford and Oyster Bay. If you want to splurge, Cloudy Bay is wonderful.

I like Clos Du Bois wines....Californian. They have a really good Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio.

DH likes Benziger's Sauv. Blanc. He thought he was grabbing Beringer's, and it turned out to be a good mistake.

I also like Bare Foot and Yellow Tail as my cheapies. Along with a Reisling from the Abby in Colorado (you can order online!!!)

I rarely drink red wine, but I love this one. Itss very sweet. Unfortunately, it's very hard to find since it's from a local PA winery. It's called Clarion River Red.



For a cheap white zinfandel, I don't mind Berringers, but I hate Sutter Home.

I am not a cheap wine drinker. Since I don't drink very much I splurge when I want wine or tequila in a fantastic Margarita.


My new favorite is from Sister Creek Vineyards in Sisterdale, Texas (population 25). It's near Fredricksburg which is west of San Antonio and a large grape growing area.

My most current bottle is a Reserve 2008 Texas Muscat Canelli. A perfect desert wine with a slight sweet taste. No headaches. If I remember it was $22 a bottle. And they ship, but sorry Meg it looks like it's out for you. I love their winery and the smell of the casks.

It was Anne Green Spring's Plum Hollow. It was a sad day when they stopped making that! (It was cheaper than Boone's Farm. lol )
