for me to take my christmas tree down?
I have just been so busy, it has not made it to the top of the to-do list. but I might just do it tonight before the cleaning people come tomorrow, so they can clean up any little bits that fall off.
Don't think of it as behind...think of it as ahead for this Christmas!
ROFL! I didn't even have one this year... you could send it over (but I STILL have no finished room to put it in).
LOL! We just took ours down yesterday, so you aren't the only one! It usually comes down on MLK day, but I just wasn't in the mood to spend my day off doing it.

I'm glad to see someone has theirs up longer than we did. Ours went down last week.

My SIL one year left hers up until Easter. She had redecorated her family room and coordinated the Christmas decorations to match. It looked so nice she just didn't want to take it down. She only took it down because she was hosting Easter and was tired of listening to her mother telling her to take it put it away.

I have a friend back in San Antonio, who started a tradition one year, kind of by accident really. That year, life got in the way, and she didn't get to a have a "Christmas" open house until February, so the tree stayed up until she could host the party, the first weekend in February. Now, 20+ years later, it is still a tradition in her family. And she can count on most of the folks she invites to attend, since there are so few conflicting events (lol)!

LOL! On Ellen today, her camera crew was in Philadelphia at a woman's house and suddenly Ellen said, "Is that CHRISTMAS decorations I see still up??" The poor woman was embarrassed - so maybe you should take them down in case Ellen sends a crew to your house!
I wonder, sometimes, if we ever give God a headache.
Don't feel bad... I've been putting off vacuuming for days... I thought I'd do it tonight, but I'm just too tired... *sigh*

vacuuming? What's that? I can't say much as I'm a very lazy housekeeper. We did get our tree down during some snow days as I need my dh to reach most of the ornaments and then put the stuff in the attic.
