[highlight=#ffff80]Hello everyone and happy new year!
I haven't visited this site in years and am happy to be back. I am an avid scrapbooking and paper crafter. Love making handmade cards, that's my addiction lately. Was wondering if anyone knew of any other sites where I can submit some of my creations for critics? it's always helpful to get some comments/suggestions when you've crafted your projects. Would appreciate any suggestions.
Thank you.

Welcome back! I am new to the site, well since you were here anyway. There are a few Canadians on this site, but I can not tell you who. They are here! I hope you do well with your cards. Sadly, I have never submitted a card. I am looking forward to viewing your work. Good luck with it.

I don't know any other sights, but welcome back. I am new while you have been gone. I love spying, uhm..I mean....looking at everyone's cards. I get a lot of ideas for my own cards from the gallery. I'm sure all the cherries will have great suggestions, good luck in your search
I'm a fellow Canuk! I am not sure what "critic" you are looking for. Have you posted in the gallery here...and ask for feedback rather than comments? I know when I had an issue for a layout, I asked, and got awesome response!

I am also a fellow Canadian (Manitoba). Welcome back to ACOT! This is (still) an awesome place so I'm sure you'll make your way right back in!
As for where to submit, check out the forum called Our Little Pub. this will list any publications currently looking for pages and/or cards. You can check it out HERE.
Oops, just realized you wanted to submit for critquing. haha! That one, I'd say just post a thread on the message board looking for feedback.

Hi and welcome back! As for critiquing a card, I'm in agreement with Sarah. Just post a thread here with a photo of your card and ask for suggestions and feedback. I've seen many people do that and get some amazing responses and results.

I agree with the others, that you could just post here asking for feedback. But I have to be honest and say that I have not had much luck getting constructive criticism from the scrapbooking community. I don't mean just here. It seems that the community in general has a very supportive, encouraging outlook and people usually don't want to say anything 'bad'. It is nice to hear nice things about your work though.
what I have done is just find people whose work I admire and try to honestly compare mine to theirs myself. Of course, it is tough getting an objective perspective from yourself, but I think it has really helped me. I just ask myself questions like, "what do I like about her page that MY page is lacking"
AHAHAHAHA! Meg, if you EVER need constructive criticism, you can send it to or post it in the thread and I'll be 100% honest! I have a friend I IM with daily and we swap photos of works-in-progress and critique and give suggestions...sometimes we get pretty brutal...but it's nice to have another set of eyes looking from a different perspective. Not to mention, I've learned SO MUCH by doing this too. And made a great friend..we are what we call the "best friends we've never met".

Hi Lise! I post on here infrequently, but I am always looking around in the gallery and the store Great inspiration to be found here. I am a fellow Canadian (Newfoundland) and also a nurse!
If you're looking for feedback rather than comments, I would just post them here for us to see and ask for feedback We'll give it to ya!
Thank you all for the nice suggestions and "welcomes"! I will take your suggestions and post here, but please do be honest I am looking for positive/constructive feedback, no offense will be taken. Actually have another issue maybe some of you will be able to help me with... do you have a trick to cut straight lines with craft shaped scissors?
