perhaps journal spots? You could stamp and punch out or get pre-made. I like having lines for hand-written journaling.
What I reach for over and over are buttons, bling (gem stickers - flourishes and individuals), and I am especially fond of the pearl type bling stickers. I like to thread my buttons with floss, jute or thin organdy ribbon - depending on the layout.
