Just read this book today...I couldn't put it down. Very moving. I highly recommend it. It deals with the Holocaust. Anyone else read this book?

I got this book right before we moved but I haven't read it yet. I will have to read it after I get all of my books unpacked. LOL!
I just finished this book two days ago!! GREAT book! I loved it!!

I read the book a couple of months ago, and took me days to read. It was a good story, and very moving.
Sounds very good. Is it depressing in the end? I know the subject is the Holocaust, but some books on this subject leave me feeling really down....does this one do that? It might be a great read for later...when Im not so emotional....just checking. Thanks!

I just read this book, and it was one of those rare books that I truly could not put down. Stayed up all night reading it, and I am never able to do that (not that I don't want to, I just fall asleep too easily!).
I read it a few months ago and really loved it. There is a movie out also but, it's not nearly as good as the book, of course.

I've enjoyed most of her books.

Same ? as Janell - I will seriously have nightmares if it is a book on the holocaust that leaves me too down. I am trying to remember the name of the one I read where the young boy has an affair w/his neighbor and then finds out that she was a security officer for the Nazi's. I may not remember the name, but I remember the way I felt after reading it. Truly life changing!! And I couldn't sleep right for a week!

The reviews on amazon might help in making that decision. I'm compelled to read it....now to wait until Friday so I don't screw up downloading it to my iPad when I can have James guide me through it.
