Good question, Nancy!!!!! My hardest challenge with fast scraps is getting my decision done of what and how to do the challenge!
that is an excellent question - I was wondering how I could focus and get something done this time too
i think it helps to pull together your scraps and papers and coordianting them along with embellies/ ribbon.. i use the 12x12 page protectors to put mini kits together. maybe even pull a few possible pics to use.

oooo great idea....if I have the time I might just stick the ear buds in and go to town!!!
Reminds me of the Fall Crop last year.....lots of Fast Scraps were geared towards the Holidays! Light bulb moment!

Keep thinking and chatting it out girls! Great idea for the mini kits...and you can definitely plan on some "time of year" challenges!
And I'm going to quietly back out of the room before any of my fellow CTers jump on me for giving stuff away, LOL
Some of the past fast scraps included gift card holders and bookmarks. Maybe there will be something like gift boxes (pillow box) and/or T'giving table place cards. I think having some T'giving colors and wintery colors on hand might be a good idea. I'm going to cut out some embellies with my cricut ahead of time (snowflakes) and make a couple theme bags like someone else suggested.
I have NEVER done a fast scrap on time and so I want to be better prepared this time.

I can't wait for the fast scraps...my friend shared a link for one from the past crop and i've made at least 6 of them...super easy to make..and they held 4x6 pictures that i was giving from a friends birthday party.
I threw all of my bits and pieces in a clear iris container.....and it's sitting beside my table patiently waiting...
Do you think your little scraps every feel like misfit toys???/

At least I'm not in the same boat. I think I started one once and then gave up! it's funny that something meant to be fun gets me stressed out.
I've done several of the fast scraps, and I've even gotten some done on time . The ones I dislike are the ones at night that you can't do digi... cause I'm disabled and I have to be in bed (off my feet) in the evening, so I can't play... sigh. I guess I need to bring some scraps up with me, but the hard ones are like ... arrange this and take a photo of it.
Sometimes a fast scrap will be to make a card...you could have a pre-scored and folded card ready to go - just in case... 'course you won't know if it is to be made on white, kraft, etc so maybe have serveral ready to go. Then there won't be a card fastscrap. (LOL)
My theory is this.....WING IT!!! lol but seriously, I figure I'll look at the Fast Scraps, and if I have stuff to fit I'll do it, if not, then I won't. But I won't stress about it....cuz this is supposed to be MY fun time!

Well can I join your group because I don't think I have ever scrapped anything fast even when I had a kit to go by.

I love the Fast Scraps! The fun part is trying to get inspired and kick something out and no ones comes out perfectly neat and perfect, it's just fun brainstorming style creation!
