The kids and I have been downstairs four times this morning because of the tornado siren and warnings! i kept my first graders and preschooler home because of these storms! i'm so glad that i did. pray for us in west michigan!
so the tornado threat is gone, but we are left with heavy winds. we have lots of branches in the yard and i just heard something loud hit the roof, but i'm not brave enough to go see what it was!

It was nasty but we are all fine. I work at a health club daycare and we just took everyone into the locker rooms and everyone was just fine.

I live in Ohio and we are under a tornado warning also with winds up to 70 miles an hour.

It's supposed to be extremely windy for the next 3 days. I'm sitting watching the trees go nuts out my living room window right now. Not looking forward to picking up the kids in this weather...I drive a van and it feels every little bit of the wind.

how are things in Michigan this afternoon? A semi-tractor trailer was blown over on the highway here in Wisconsin this morning. Tornado warnings earlier in the day - but not right here where I live. This wind is crazy - I hope I don't get home wishing we had had the tree trimmer come to trim that big branch I have not liked having over our roof for the past couple years...
