Hello ladies. I just wanted to let you know my dear sweet Father-in-law, age 90, past away this afternoon peacefully at home. All of the family has been pitching in with his care over the last few months so he could spend his final days in his own home. We were so blessed to have the loving support of Hospice and my son, Nathan, who was his care taker during the week. He's a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) and was able to care for him until he had open heart surgery. He could easly lift him and was so kind to him. One of his daughters, took the night shifts and my dh took the weekends. He had to have someone with him 24/7. The other two daughters who live out of town came to take care of him after Nathan's surgery. It took a village to take care of him, but we made the decison to do that so he could be at home. We knew this was coming, but it still hurts very bad. Prayers will be appreciated. Here are a couple of pics of him.
