You'll be totally glad you did too! They run challenges and contests all the time and all you have to do is create them and post them at their site!

scraptag wrote:I've been here since Aug 2008 (on the mb) and still don't even know if you guys know who I am! But I just keep chatting my brains out. I like the simplicity of this board. It's really easy to navigate, and see all the new topics of discussion. You don't have to peel away at 20 layers of folders to finally find a new topic to read about. I know when i first started here, we had more opinionated people and more "action" on the board. Then it seemed like a bunch of people left and it got kinda quiet. And it just keeps getting quieter and quieter. So, I enjoy any newbies who want to pop in and give us something to look at or opportunities to win stuff! And I appreciate Kristin trying to make her store THE place to be to buy incredible scrappy supplies. I think it would be kind of hard for her to post a message on the board that says " okay girls, we are having company, please be on your best behavior. Remember, this is my message board, not yours, and I'm trying to run a business here. No fighting and BE NICE!"

It does kinda bother's me that people put stuff in the gallery, but don't post. Because i really want to know more about them and how they created their works of art, but if all they can do is give me the opportunity to view it, then that's fine too. I'm sure I can garner some inspiration from the layout as it is, but if they would share some of their tricks with us, it would be even better! And if i don't know them, then i don't feel inspired to leave love. I figure they really aren't here for love, but for advertisement, so I don't feel an obligation.

But what I think it comes down to is, "If you don't have something nice to say (or constructive), then don't say it at all." I really don't feel the need to get involved in every issue that comes up, because I figure that negativity breeds negativity. I'd rather be the positive post, but I felt that I just needed to put my 5cents in here. Be respectiful and play by the Golden Rule. We all want to have fun and benefit from the board, but this is an instrument to keep and boost sales for a store that is feeding families. And it can be eliminated if that purpose isn't served. Just saying.

PERFECTLY said!!!

I got flamed with my first 2 posts here and I'm sticking it out. Figure that people who want to get to know me will and those who don't, that is just fine.

I'm not every ones cup of tea, but everyone isn't mine either.

Golden rule, treat others as you want to be treated.

Yes I don't post often at all and if I had more time to chit chat on a tonne of boards, I would. I know Tina {the original poster of this thread} and she has got to be one of the most genuine, heartfelt, sincere ladies in the crafting world I know.

Thank goodness I take time to get to know some one before I judge. There are real gems out there. and there is nothing worse than having people judge you for 1 stinkin post.

Just so you know, I placed an order (using one of my win GCs) on July 11th and I received in it the mail yesterday. So it doesn't always necessarily take that long to get your order! And my chipboard that I ordered is AMAZING! I can't wait to use it!

My main problem is I don't do well with delayed gratification, and to wait for it to get cut and THEN shipped doesn't do well for this ADD brain LOL!!! Any chance of them keeping more common requests in stock?

We work to get it out fast, just sometimes things come up so there is sometimes a little longer wait.

Well I know my orders have come in a very reasonable time frame but then again I live in Canada so the sled dogs have to deliver them!! haha
It should be alot faster for you states gals.

ps. I won't be vulgar and talk about my sex life like some people. They say those that have to talk about it are probably not having it.

Sometimes hearing that somebody has a sex life is nice, at least someone is getting some action. ;) Personally if I could ever get my husband home I might some day have sex as much as Leslie!

LOL, he likes my balls :P Though according to Nancy the Army gave me balls and then took away my husband. So, maybe the Army is to blame? :-D
