* Perhaps a bit morbid, but I LOVE this question.
If you were to leave instructions for what music should be played at your wake or funeral, what would it be?
OCD is not an adjective. It is not a personality quirk. It is not synonymous with being organized. It is a complex and debilitating mental health illness that affects people of all ages and walks of life, and is defined by the presence of unwanted, intrusive thoughts and repetitive actions. I am an OCD warrior and I fight for my son.
Swing music , or Big Band! My family should know who to play. Its my favorite music to tap to!

There is a song by Rascal Flatts that I really love, some of the words are "I want to be running when the sand runs out", I want to go out knowing I got all from life that I could!

I want to be cremated but the song Keg on my Coffin by the Push Stars sums it up for me! I want a big party!! Here are some of the lyrics:
Put the keg on my coffin
And think of me every so often
Have a losers day parade
for all my friends
Drink up life like a river
'til the pizza man delivers
And smile and know I loved you 'til the end
Put the keg on my coffin
And think of me every so often
Have a losers day parade
for all my friends
Drink up life like a river
'til the pizza man delivers
And smile and know I loved you 'til the end

Something spiritual would be Old Rugged Cross..my grandfather loved that song.
Something fun would be Celebrate by Kool and the Gang....a celebration of my life.

From a Colombian musician-composer, Carlos Vives, "Dejame entrar en tu ventana", it translate, "Let me inside your window" this song DH sang it to me while we were still dating. We still dedicate it to one another once in a while

My mom had left instructions for a specific version of Amazing Grace to be played. It was helpful to know what she wanted but was very sad too. As far as a song for me, I haven't really thought about it. Something sentimental that would make people cry...I want them to miss me, lol, I'm mean like that
I'd love to go for something a little 'hard' and rockish, but that would be if I died in the near future, and to be honest, I don't think my parents would have it - even though I don't live with them and have a home/partner/life of my own! Stairway To Heaven I always liked, but it's a little bit cliche so that puts me off...
JOY
I actually have it written down, and in the file where my will is, that my best friend sing Tears In Heaven, assuming she outlives me.
