I also like to handcut out paper elements - that's a easy way to create your own embellishments - but you are going to love the new embellishments coming with the new lines this season....so gorgeous!!
I have to vote for seaside retreat as my favorite, I love the fabric ribbon and use it a lot. I also like Lullaby Lane.

When you're doing Layouts do you start simple and then add embellishments, or plan out all the embellishments ahead of time?
I do a general sketch for my pages then go from there. I generally do not plan embellies, per se. I just keep adding what i love.

I am really curious to know just how long it takes exactly to design something....from the initial idea to final product....I am sure the time varies...but was wondering how long from the idea stage until it is physically in a store.

My favorite embellishment right now are the bloomers! I love them. I bought them in every color!
Do you guys have a favorite Webster's line or paper? (I can see why you'd have a hard time choosing though, they're all pretty! )

I love the fabric ribbons, too. Seaside is a fave of mine, for sure!
I generally purchase the paper and make my own embellies, ie. flowers, cut outs, deco items....LOVE, love, love the paper designs!!! You all are very creative! Thanks for such a great line to work with.

I have a question about the Lullaby Lane line. [font="] Puppydogs & pigtails reminds me of “Dick and Jane” books from the 50s and 60s.

i def start simple and then go from there...my layouts tend to be more simple, i think.
But just b/c you less embellies, etc, than other ppl doesn't mean you can use a cool patterned paper like Webster's as your background..than..it's not so simple anymore, kwim?
that is what we tried to do with our different stages of layouts, if that makes an sense?
