Well, 2007 is done. yeah!
2008 is printed through June, and about halfway scrapped (but since I've been dabbling in digi, I have actually accidentally scrapped a few things twice. ha ha )
2009 is not printed out, but I have some things scrapped digi, and about 10 pages scrapped paper
2010 a few digi and a few paper.
The thing is, that when we have our challenges, some things in different years just seem to really fit, so I will scrap them then. Although I try to stick with the year I am trying to finish. I have now learned to put my pages in protectors by year so I can keep them together until I can get them in an album. And I try to mark them scrapped in my computer, but that's not really working. How can you be that organized and still have time to scrap!
I just started on my daughter's book & she is 16. I have been scrapbooking for about 6 years but they have all been for gifts for the girls in my Girl Scout troop. They have each received 3 books so far. I only have 2 more years left of Girl Scouts & I am only behind about a year in theirs. I am hoping to start completing the challenges to get my personal scrapbooking done.
I'm very far behind, but I'm not worried about it. I don't really follow any paticular order.

Let's see my daughter will be 19 this year so just for my kids I'm almost 19 years behind, for every thing else I'm 37 years behind and then some

I haven't been an active paper crafter for a while and want to get back in the swing of things!

Let's just put it this way...I need to live to be 130 at least!
WAS a TIKI BAR GIRL AND ALWAYS WILL BE
I don't scrap in order anymore and I love it so much more that way. I take TONS of pictures and I'm a scrap-every-pic sort of girl so I have 5 12-inch stacks of pics on my table and shelf right now and I'm going to order another 3000 or so pics from April '09 to present when I get them collaged. At least I'll never run out!

about 2 years behind.

Don't fear the challenge, challenge the fear.

I don't scrap in any partricular order either. Just whatever inspires me at the moment. Sometimes it will be a photo that I just printed out or some paper that will make me dig through photos to find to go with the paper. But I do have lots of photos that I want to scrap, so I need to get motivated more often!

I don't scrap in order either that's why I'm so far behind. I scrap as the mood strikes except when it comes to the ABC challange where I planned out what I want to do for each letter.

Well even if I got caught up to current, there's always my wedding photos, a couple really old vacation albums I'd like to redo, or all DH's childhood pics! And when I scrap current stuff, I plan at least 3 or 4 LO's at once; lay the pics out, any embellies that they scream for, figure out what challenges they can fit, etc. So I still have choices!handerful wrote: I scrap for the fun of it. I don't want to be "caught up" then that would mean I don't have any choices for ideas. I like to skip around all the time, depending on what my mood it or the occasion.
Personally I would be overwhelmed if I *didn't* scrap chronologically; too many choices, lol!
i will more than likely never be caught up....but that is ok with me.
I don't expect myself to rush home and scrap an event right after it happened.

I don't think I will ever catch up either with the amount of photos I take and the limited time I have for scrapping.
I scrap a little weird.
I paper scrap chronologically and I'm still in 2004.
But then I scrap digi too, and that I do whatever strikes my fancy. I jump all over, sometimes I scrap the photos I took yesterday and sometimes I scrap photos from years ago.

I'm with you. I didn't really start scrapping until about 5 years ago. I now have 3 grandchildren and have yet to do any of their birthdays, etc. I just mostly do our vacations and whatever pics that I have already printed. I started doing the monthly challenges and they have really got me in the scrapping mood. No real order and I will never get caught up.javalove wrote:Let me just admit that my oldest is 20 and I've only done about eight layouts for him...talk about being behind! I've given up trying to do anything chronologically, so now it's hit or miss and whatever happens to move me at the moment.
Ditto!Scrappy69 wrote:I don't scrap in any particular order and for some reason I don't seem to worry about being on a schedule. Many of my friends get stressed about it, I feel like that takes the fun out of it.

Ummm---years here too! I also scrap all over--whatever the challenge or mood inspires me to do! But, I do need to get more done!

Yea, I don't scrap in any particular order either. It works for me but I may never finish my sons album at this right, lol.
