yesterday I found out that my cousin has a mass on the head of the pancreas that looks bad. Thank God is small and he is having surgery in July to remove it. The MRI and Ct show that there is no other masses on the liver, lungs etc. We don't know yet if after the surgery, he is going to have radiation.


Please pray that the surgery goes well and he will be OK. Thank you guys like always.






**UPDATE** My cousin's surgery (he is really my cousin's husband but I consider him my blood cousin) was a success they were able to take out the entire mass...unfortunately, he passed away today from a pulmonary edema which was probably caused cardiac arrest. Is very sad, he was only 64 and it is also sad because he lives in Brazil and we can't be there with the family.

Danielle, I hope he does good. He stands a great chance of beating it since it hasn't spread. I just found out my cousin who is 5 years older than me has cancer of the lung, pancreas, liver and brain. They did radiation on the brain first to get the swelling down and so she can hold a pen and not be off balance. Now she is having strong chemo for 6 months. She lost her hair already and her prognosis is not good. They tell her it is treatable - what does that even mean????? (((HUGS)))
