I was asked to try and do one of these flowers awhile back, sorry it took so long for me to get to it.
For this flower you will need 2 chenille stems( pipecleaners)
Start by folding each one in half and cutting into 2 pieces
now fold these in half and cut again.
Once you have your pieces cut. Fold each piece in half and twist the ends together. Do this for each petal. I made a total of 6 petals.
Once you have them all twisted, adhere to a small scrap circle.... I use liquid adhesive for this. Adhere each of your twists to the circle and let dry. Once dry, you can adjust the shape of your petals and flower. The top with your choice of flower centers. I used a small circle covered in beads with a heart sticker on top of that( but I forgot to take a picture of that)
Here is my layout with the flower.
If you get a chance to give this flower a try this week, post it to this thread by midnight next Thursday June 17 and you could be eligible to win some random points.
Great flower. Thanks!

Neat!
I am such a dork! I did last week's flower last Saturday and kept forgetting to post it. DOH! Actually I did several weeks of flowers last weekend. I will have to post them just to show. I'm scrapping tomorrow morning. DH has to work and DD will probably sleep in, so my plan is to get up early and scrap for a few hours.

So cute! I saw your page in the gallery this morning and loved it!!
This is really cute! I saw one like this but using ribbon!
Cindy, first happy birthday again!!!!
I have to be honest I didn't know Flowers of Friday even existed! Shame on me! So when I saw your post today about your time with your DH today, I thought what is it. And thank you for having your birthday so I could post my flowers here! Of course after the cattle where taken care of this evening.
I was sitting for a minute before I went back to work with house work. And looked it up. Oooooo.....I was wishing I had pipe cleaners. Then it popped in my head! My DH started smoking a pipe late last summer. The smoking the pipe thing got old pretty quick for him. Then I remembered I did have pipe cleaners! They aren't the soft craft kind, LOL! They are the real thing and course to the point of sticking you! So it is all your fault I had so much fun playing with pipe cleaners for about an hour and forty-five minutes today!!!! I whipped the first one out in 30 minutes and the second two made and done in another 30 minutes.
Thank you for letting me play like a little girl again in Scouts!
