>> Which state or country would like to live in? <<
I'd actually like to go back to Minnesota...but now that the winters take a toll on me, I'd prefer New Mexico.
>> Are you afraid of anything? <<
Oh, yeah. I'm afraid my 87 year old Mom will fall down her stairs and I always want to know where the kids are, so I know they're not dead in some gutter somewhere!

Say what??? No idea at all what you're talking about, but I'm guessing I'll be for Butler since you have his name in caps!

>> & last question: Do you have a favorite card game or board game? <<
I love Canasta. As a kid, spending the summers at the cbin, if it was raining for a few days, our friends would come over and we'd put all the decks of cards together and then make up meld and canasta rules. It was great then - now I prefer the double-deck, normal game. Separating all those decks of cards afterwards then was a real pain!

>> where in Michigan are you, and how did you end up in that area? Anywhere near Saginaw or Muskegon? <<
Nope - we're in the U.P. We're about halfway between Marquette and Houghton. DH's daughter lives in Saginaw and we go there as often as we can; we were there for Thanksgiving and then back in January for DH's Mom's funeral. We want to spend more time in Pigeon visiting his sister this summer, so we do get there at times. Maybe next time we're coming to Saginaw, we could meet!

>What is your favorite aspect of being a Michigander?<
It sure ISN'T the snow...but here I am in the U.P.!! I love being so close to the Great Lakes. I used to enjoy going to the Islands - like Drummond and Bois Blanc, though I haven't been to either in a long time. In Marquette is a peninsula called Presque Isle and I've walked around it many times, going out onto the rocks or, when the weather is bad, watching the breakers roll right over the breakwall - though I do that from a distance! We live in a relatively unpopulated area, too, and DH & I love taking back roads and see where they come out...and hope we don't get stuck!

>> Are you a Spartan fan, or (gasp!) a Wolverine supporter? <<
I'm not sure which sport you're talking about! Sorry for being so dense! I root for the Vikings to annoy my family (never actually watch the game and they're all Packer fans) and the Twins (again - I don't watch the games)...but since my grandson started hockey 6 years ago, I have to say that, for him, I'm a Pistons fan!! (Anything to remain in his good graces! )

Congratulations Jean.
My questions for you. How long have you been scrapbooking?
Do you make cards also?
Do you have any other craft hobbies?

It came about because I was working with mosaics and had mosaiced everyone out on mosaic gifts and still had a ton of tiles left over. My friend, Paula, had been scrapbooking and I looked at her stuff (she's excellent!) and decided to give it a try. I collected stuff for 3 years before actually doing a layout. The first lo was in 2003 of my grandson.

Nope, it doesn't bother me at all. When I ask questions I ask them all in one post, too.

I love to travel and we have lots of plans for the near future. We'd be on the road now if I hadn't had so much trouble with this arm! DH wants to go Island hopping; I prefer to go out West again, see things I missed before and see some for the 3rd time. I also want to go to the East Coast because I've never been there either.

That would be our small family cabin in Minnesota. I feel more relaxed and happy there than anywhere else. There's no running water, but there is a well to haul good water into the 2 room cabin and a lake to wash up in. Of course, then you smell fishy...but so does everyone else!

I've tried, but I'm not very good at them at all. My sis, on the other hand, makes really cool cards.
