Hey you!
Hey - what about the plans?
Hey Amy sweet thing! Thank you for coming to see us! big shmoopy kisses:-D Lori, thank you for noticing! Its a challenge to mix sometimes but so worth it in the end. Sometimes i think "if i were going to mix up a bunch of patternded throw pillows for my couch or bed, what would i want the pattern mix to look like?"
Something coming up? You know, secrets? Can't you spill some?

Thanks Heidi!
lorigentile wrote:I love your designs because they usually have large and small patterns. The small is awesome for layering and backgrounds and the large is awesome for cutting out, distressing and turning into fun dimensional die cuts. In other words, there is something for everyone.
I couldn't have said this better myself Lori.
I'm a huge fan of cutting out elements from pattern paper, yet I need the smaller patters for layering/backgrounds.
An old man's shirt from the 70's? HAHAHAHA!
Have you been looking in my closet again???

it's funny, I've totally learned so much through this experience of working with jos. I've learned NOT to be sensitive and that I can't grow if I don't listen and really consider things. It's hard to put your soul into something and then allow it to be judged by others. The truth is that we have a huge advantage in the fact that we work together, so we can catch things and really work a collection over before it's presented to the public!

Ohhh, the throw pillows is a good thought!!! Very true!
salogris wrote:awesome question Jody! we are totally bent toward the same design style, but ofcourse we have our seperate tastes. Josie is more muted and I'm more vivid, but that's a generalization. but it really helps us balance things out.
I remember one time I was soooo furious with her because I was totally in LOVE with a paper I had just made and when I showed her on yahoo messenger she hated it. she didn't say that but I could read between her long pauses and finally she said "it looks like an old man's shirt from the 70's" !!!!!! I wouldn't talk to her for two hours. but I tabled it and later I hated it too!! LOLOL
Too funny! I love that you wouldn't talk to her for a few hours after that!
