>> do you make scrapbooks to give away (as gift or to family) ? <<
No...I've done layouts and framed them for people. For my parent's 62nd Anniversary, I framed a photo of her sitting on his lap at Christmas. They were both laughing and happy. So I got a wood frame, stained it to the color of their walls and put in the layout. It's still hanging in their living room. Oh wait!! I did do some scrapbooking in 6x6 albums when my eldest was over-the-road trucking. Mainly it was pictures of his son, but there were pictures of the rest of the family, too. He said it helped a lot to have the albums when he was feeling really down about not being home.
It was just one of the names my parents liked. None of us girls were named for relatives, though I would have been honored to have either Grandma's name as my middle name. Mom used to be in a lot of bridge clubs and of course, they talked about their kids. One woman had a daughter and named her Arjean because she thought it was such a nice name. Mom always would refer to me as "our Jean", which her friend heard as "Arjean"!!
I wonder, sometimes, if we ever give God a headache.
Congrats and have fun!

30 minutes, maybe up to 45 minutes. The thing that takes the longest is finding where the paper and embellies I want are! The lo is usually already in my head...unless I'm having a "senior moment"!!

Nope - I'm a Northern Minnesta gal. Funny I still call that home; we were 11 when we moved and that was 46 years ago!
