Re: Tools of the trade (Adhesive)
I use herma fix, pop dots and xyron (X, 500, 900) for everything.

Ha, I used to use the click and stick, so frustrating! I use hermafix and thermowise (the taperunner).

I just got one of these and I'm MADLY in love with it!! Especially the one with the teeny tiny itty bitty dots - it's make sticking down itty bitty embellies SOOOOOO much easier! :)

I have a problem with adhesive. I can't find just one I love. I keep changing. I wish I could find a love.

Right now I have:
One Duck Brand tape runner
Hermafix tabs
Adtech tape runner from walmart.

Ditto! I love this too. I also use glue dots, a glue pen (it's blue, I forget the brand!), and my Xyron 150.

I use to have an ATG gun. I didn't like it. It was too big and bulky. I also had to hold my arm in an uncomfortable position to use it.

Chalk me up as one in the ATG club. :) I use glue dots and that red sticky tape stuff quite a bit too. And for some die cuts and glittering I like to use the Martha or Zig glue pens.

Re: Tools of the trade (Adhesive)
I have always used Uhu Glue sticks for papers, Dimension Magic for heavier items & to add glaze to a project, mounting dots for lifting off the page & for the fabric or ribbon I have always used either my hot glue gun or Pritt Power Gel.

I have to find substitutes for most of those now as I can't find them here.

ATG gun

Love it!! Love it. Used it for a few years.

Imagefor embelishments and buttons.

Imagefor paper letters and flowers. Dries fast......it is really stuck in place.

Image 3 L The green one. you can run it over diecuts and can lift it right up with adhesive right where you want it. Does not fill in the holes of those intricate pieces.

Xyron for ribbons and small things, pop dots if I want a 3D effect, little tabs that roll from a dispenser for adhering pages & photos, Glue Dots for things I want really held well.

Re: Tools of the trade (Adhesive)
I'm new to this forum, but I also use Tombow Glue. Absolutely love it! At first I was a little skeptical, but when I tried it I didn't have to worry about those little white tabs peeping out from behind whatever I was gluing down. I got them from my local dealer a few years back (and I'm sure I don't have to mention names). LOL! :greenwinkb: But after trying this adhesive where all I had to do was run my applicator over what I wanted to glue and it left a strip of dry glue. NO MESS!! I was like, WOW! Seriously?? And to top it off - it was clear! What are they going to come up with next?
