If you owned a retaurant what would you call it? and what would you serve?
I'd have the first franchise of my favorite Mexican restaurant, La Paloma, and I'd serve their great food. Why re-invent the wheel?

I'm not sure what I would call it - but I would love to have a tapas restaurant where I live....

would have to think longer about a name, but would serve vegetarian food only
The Neighborhood Mill and it would be in a mill -I already have it picked out I just need to have money and purchase it!! LOL!
I would serve homemade breads of all kinds, breakfasts are a must with REAL coffee - no blends - and then healthy but delicious sandwiches for lunches and wonderful desserts that are semi-healthy, or at least not too bad for you, as well.
There used to be a wonderful place in LR called Delicious Temptations that served this type of food and they did a fantastic business. The owner retired and now there is no one to fill this niche. I miss them terribly!

Well, I don't cook very well at all, but I'm an excellent baker, so I would have a bakery called "Sweet Nothin's"!
OCD is not an adjective. It is not a personality quirk. It is not synonymous with being organized. It is a complex and debilitating mental health illness that affects people of all ages and walks of life, and is defined by the presence of unwanted, intrusive thoughts and repetitive actions. I am an OCD warrior and I fight for my son.
"That One Place" So I could say, "let's have lunch at That One Place". I would serve all my favorite dishes from childhood.

"Bring on Breakfast" I love breakfast so this would be what I would serve! Though I do also love Mexican as well.

I love italian cuisine and desserts but also love chocolate I would have a resturant and bakery but only things with chocolate and since I'm half italian and my mom calls herself "chocolate"
(she has dark skin) it could also have a double meaning. it would be funny to have a name that expessed that like "half anf half" or "best of both worlds".. of course I would probably
offend people but it's not a real place lol so they have to get over it. lol I'm just having fun.

My restaurant would be called The Eclectic. I would serve a menu with traditional American dishes with an international twist - for example:
Bacon Cheese Bürger --
A Bacon Cheeseburger served on a Pretzel-roll with Milbenkäse (a bitter, zesty cheese) and Bauchspeck (German style, beechwood-smoked bacon) using Mittelscharf (a common mild-hot mustard) as the main condiment with a side of Spargel (white asparagus) in a German black summer truffle sauce.
Kalahari Fried Chicken --
Fried Chicken with a crispy crust of breading (sorghum-wheat flour and corn-starch base with some typical S. African spices) with a side of mongongo fruit & nut salad

I would have a bar and grill serving all the greasy greats with lots of booze! Need to drink, too! Nothing fancy of a name... just D's.

For years the old fire station on Main St. sat vacant. My friends and I dreamed of havng the cash to buy and revamp it into a "Cocoa & Jo's To Go". It is located on the RIGHt side of the hwy. - so that everyone commuting into work could stop and get a latte, cappacino, coffee, etc. to go on their way in using the drive-thru. On the way home they could stop and get hand made chocolates and specialty desserts to take home for dinner. Of course we would have sit down tables as well and have a sweet little coffee house gathering for the town.
Of course we never had the funds...and a construction co. bought it to keep their vehicles in.

Honestly, I don't know what I would call it, but I would serve down-home comfort food, using as many fresh and local ingredients as possible.
I don't know what I'd call it, but it would serve French toast all day, every day. And that's all.
