and there have been very few new posts here this weekend. I have a sore throat and stuffed up head, and it rained here all day and I can't get motivated. I watched my Buckeyes beat Illinois in double overtime, though! What did you do today?

Yes, the board's been slow today. I was on and off trying to get coins. I need 120 more points before I can order, but it's been hard today w/ so few posts. Dreary weather here, also, and I think that's why I've done nothing but one quick errand and vegged in front of the TV. Hope tomorrow is better.

Awww--I'm sorry you feel yucky. There is some kind of virus going around here that is making everybody have that bad upper-respiratory crud--everyone at work and even my 80 year old parents have had it. Sounds like you might, too.

I did laundry and piddled around the house most of the day and when I wasn't doing that, I downloaded and organized a lot of the stuff I got from BUYING JEANNIE MARIE'S ENTIRE STORE last night (what a DEAL, Ladies!! You Digi-Chicks should really think about jumping on that amazing offer!) and I also did a couple of the challenges.

I've been working on a layout all day! Trying to be more detail oriented, so I'm really taking my time with all the pieces of it. I'm about to the phase where I can start assembling though, and I can't wait to see how it all comes together.

It's been raining all day here. I went shopping for jeans and a prescription and got my hair cut. Then I took a nap. I thought I was battling sinus/allergy issues all day but dh just came home from work and announced "I'm sick".........so now I'm thinking hmmmmm.

I've been waiting for weeks for the movie Clark Rockefeller and it's on in about 45 minutes and I am hoping I stay awake for it

I played with Legos last night. Yes I have a legos. I got new ones... the toy story ones. I'm in love with them. I've always loved legos since I was a kid why should I out grow it. I've spent the morning cleaning the house and doing laundry. I'm about to jump in the shower before going to the commissary.

feel better! Ive been lighting up the gallery. I've had a migraine all day, on and off. got some scrapping done though because, well, one can only lay in bed and be miserable for so long and DD was bugging me to go downstairs and do art. check out this page, Im so proud of it! the photo kinda stinks because there is a major storm going on here and I tried hard, even got DH to hold the layout up next to the bathroom light, but this is the best we could do... anyway, it's gorgeous in person if I do say so myself. I can't really claim credit though, it is all these gorgeous new prima products!

Not miuch here either and THAT has me bummed. I was all excited all day long at work on Friday because I had announced early in the week to my boyfriend and kids that I was scrapping Friday night and ALL DAY Saturday. Well Friday night came and I managed to get one layout done....for the sketch challenge. I woke up at 5am this morning and by 11:30am had NOTHING done except for playing on Facebook. The mail came and I got my ACOT order and for a few minutes, I was excited but after I got it all sorted and put away that faded. Most of what I had ordered is for pictures from our recent vacation and I haven't even looked at the pictures yet. I did one layout that I really don't like but its done and in the album. Then I took a nap and had to drop my son off for a birthday party and when I came home I finally got some mojo and did create ONE layout that I really like. Part of my problem is that I was always a "cutesy" scrapper. Almost always had a hand cut paper piecing of some sort on my pages. But the last 4-5 years I've been so busy with work and a single mom (widowed) and all that comes along with that and two middle school kids that I just don;t have the time for paper piecings and on top of that, my kids are getting older now and the cute sayings just aren't all that appropriate anymore. I have more different supplies than some scrapbook stores I have been in ye4t I sit here and stare at it all with no idea what to do with it all. Its just made me feel sorry for myself. I'm hoping that maybe tomorrow I will feel better about it. A few month ago I had mommy time and cranked out 10 layouts that I just loved!!! So I refuse to believe I've lost my scrapping mojo forever! Its rainy here to...lets blame everything on the weather!

I went and visited my mother in the nursing home. I got there about 1:15. I was hoping since I was there earlier she would be in better shape. Nope.


Stopped by the grocery store on the way home. Been working on stuff for a collab kit for which I have no inspiration, no mojo whatsoever.

Oh Megamay! I LOVE your layout! It is gorgeous!
We've finally had a FULL day of SUN...no rain...no clouds...no snow....but if we could just get rid of the wind! Shhheeeeesssh!! Dh and I hit Home Depot and Lowe's today and bought some new ceiling fans and exterior lights for our house. Doing a bit of "sprucing up" around here. Next will be all new exterior doors and closet doors.... in between scrapping.... Priorities!!

Tomorrow after I do my weekend chores, I plan on doing a bit of scrapping..hopefully!

I went to an overnight crop Friday until 3 pm today. Got home around 4 pm tired. It has been raining all day, so I pulled my car in the garage and took a nap. Hopefully, it will stop raining enough tomorrow to unload my car. It is much quicker and easier to go through the front door with all my stash. My scrapbook room is just inside the front door on the right. It would take twice as long going from the garage and through the kitchen.

Dh and I went to the VA center to see about his vets benefits. It was pouring out and we got soaked. We arrived home to a power outage and sat around freezing and damp for about 3 hrs. After the power came back on we had some dinner. Now I'm working on some Easter cards.

LOL>. my crazed brain read that as you took a nap in your car! Which... truth be told... I have done. I work nights, and I have actually gotten home so tired I fell asleep sitting in the car. Then of course there was the summer when ds took driver's ed... I would take him , sleep in the car while he has class, and he'd wake me up to take him home again!

It does sound like I took a nap in my car, which I have done before when I worked for an inventory company full-time. I had spent many days going from inventory to inventory and grabbing naps in parking lots in between jobs. Don't miss those days.

LOL.. I have 121. Hhmmm..... spent the morning cleaning the hard drive on the laptop I was borrowing. DB's sister bought a new one, so she's giving me the old one. Then I took dd to her guard practice... only 2 weeks before State Finals. I worked on a layout I'm struggling a little bit with, so ran to the LSS to play with letters for the title. Then I went to a friend's wedding reception (I have a hard time with weddings since my divorce.. long story) where I actually wore heels for the first time in about 4 years. Picked up dd from practice... came home... came here to peruse the board. Oh, and it definitely rained off and on all day, not terribly hard but definitely dreary!

What LSS do you go to? I always forget about that place over on Center when I need something in an emergency.

It's been raining all day here, too. I actually found it soothing and managed to take a nap! I think I've had three naps in the last 14 years. Now, that I think about it, I probably won't be sleepy later, couple that with springing forward, and my little nap may turn out to be a mistake!
