you can so mix and match papers... use anything you like.. I have even used the same paper and alternated the layers with double sided papers.

Little Miss Sunshine - I put a brad in the center of the flower to hide the staples. I also wet embossed the edges, but you can't see it in the photo. Hidden journaling says, "I'm NOT smiling!" Unfortunately, there is a lot of glare. I took the picture 4 times and this was the best result I could get.
