1. FUN!!! I have such a demanding schedule and job that I don't want to do anything with what liitle spare time I have unless it is FUN!

4. I don't know many scrappers IRL so it gives me a way to communicate about all things scrappy with like-minded ladies.

Thanks everyone for your replies!!! You all said it a lot better than I did and I just might do another post using what all of what you said. The big thing I didn't put in my blog was to join a community that has a good reputation! That is so very important to me as I don't have a lot of time for extra and don't want to waste it on a community that's not great. Seems like you all like ACOT. I hope to be able to in the future get more involved here.

I could probably list a million reasons, but I'll keep it short... friendships with ladies who have a common interest; and I enjoy seeing what others are creating. I like learning new scrappy techniques and having an opportunity to showcase my own work. We have so much fun here at ACOT and I LOVE LOVE LOVE their online crops like the one we just finished. I also enjoy learning about what it's like where other people live. ACOT makes me smile.

I joined six years ago when I was adjusting to going from school and working full time to being a SAHM. It was nice to have other people here to talk to, with the same interests!


Over the years, the board has helped me MANY times get through situations! And when we move, it is nice to know that I have friends that are only a keystroke away. Plus, I almost always have someone where we move to from the board so it is like knowing someone in the new place already!

This is the first message board I have ever been on and I just thought it was fun to talk to people from all over the country and the world.

I live in small town rural USA with the closest LSS being 60 miles away-----so most of my shopping is online. (ACOT points keep me coming back)


I need the inspiration and motivation and I find more here than in most scrapping magazines.



ACOT is a community open to all levels and believe me, there are some sites out there that are very snobbish!!!



Online crops are wonderful so I don't have to pack my pounds and pounds of stuff up to take everywhere.

This is the first message board that I have joined. There is great inspiration here and opportunities to learn about new trends, products & methods. I chose ACOT because it seemed to be the most supportive of the boards I looked at.

I joined the MB when it first started. I shopped at Stickers Galore (ACOT's previous name) a lot, then the message board opened and was the first one I ever took part on. It was a great way to meet people from all over with a common interest. Many learned that scrapbooking wasn't the only thing we had in common and online friendships formed. This is a place to be inspired, share your ups and downs, get encouragement, support and caring. I have met several "Stick Gals"/Cherries in person and formed long lasting friendships away from the MB that I cherish!
