I want to scrap a letter that I wrote to my son.
I think I am going to write it by hand instead of printing it because it will feel more personal that way. I'm debating on if I want to write it in cursive or not though. Cursive would feel more feminine but script probably wouldn't be as readable. It's a lengthy letter though so it might be tedious to try to write it in print. Space-wise It might be an issue as well.
Also, I am not used to having a letter be the main focus of a LO (usually the photos are the focus) and I'm not sure how to make it decorative so that the letter doesn't take over the page while remaining the focus.
Has anyone scrapped letters in the past? Could you give me some tips &/or link me a LO you've done to give me some ideas?

I wrote letters to 3 of my nephews at one time. But I didn't want mine to be the focus of my layout, I wanted them hidden. So I just took an envelope and decorated the outside..the side with the flap. Then I glued the envie to my page, address side down and stuck the letter inside. Then just used a photo of that nephew and the title was just their name. I don't have a photo in this gallery or here at work so I can't show you.....let me see if I can find one.

I scrapped this letter to my daughter about her uncle who died just a few months before she was born... I wanted her to know a little bit about him. The letter is the focal point of the LO, but I also added a photo of him as well. I picked a scripty-type text, I honestly didn't feel like using a printed letter made it any less personal since the content of the letter is very personal.

I've done that a few times, sometimes I hide the letter and sometimes I display it.
