For this fast scrap I want you to make a gift bag...yes you heard me right make a gift bag. I promise you can do it...it is very very simple.
You are going to start with a 8x12 piece of cardstock/or pattern paper.
You are going to use a pencil to draw 2 lines...2 inches in from each of the long sides...like so.
then you are going to measure in 5 inches from the top and bottom and draw 2 more lines.
Now score all of your lines.
Next you are going to cut..the the 2 little squares you made..like this.
Next fold them over and adhere. Like this.
Now fold up your 2 outer sides and fold in the shorter sides and adhere. Your bag should look like this.
At this point I cut a strip of paper 1inch by 8 inches and adhered this as a handle.
then decorate as desired. I chose to use mine as a little Easter bag....here is my completed bag.
Done in under 30 minutes including typing this up for you..so I know you can do it...and i know you will amaze me with you can do. So get gift bag making!
