FLAT STICERKS AND RUB-ONS! I think they are a waste of good space.

I'll go digi and say I'm past tired of the fantasy fairy tale stuff where the kids are extracted and placed in unreal poses and places. Some day these kids are going to grow up and think their parents really did jump the shark or sniffed too much of something or .... well, you get the idea...

Re: What trends have jumped your shark?
I'll venture digi too (although I do agree with flat stickers for paper scrapping)... but for me its the large amounts of white space with a teeny tiny photo, a cluster of embellis and no journaling. Its pretty, but definitely not for me.

I don't really use glitter much anymore. I still like the look of it I just haven't used it on paper or digitally recently

Yes. I feel the same about foil and glittered papers. A little goes a LONG way

Re: What trends have jumped your shark?
on the paper side....I am OVER my Sizzix!!!!! I actually think I sent some of my alphabet dies to someone here :) but I like the skulls and owls :)

digi...I am not really into the fairytale thing...I tried a few pages adn they were ok, they would be cute for printing and decorating a fairytale room, but other than that...it's not for me....

now white space, I DIG :) as long as it is balanced and sometimes I think a picture is worth a thousand words :)

paper- I'm done with glitter/flocking/stickers..... I love pearls and ribbon.
digi- I'm not sure I'm totally over anything, I try to do a balance of things. Not sure there is any one item that I refuse.

Re: What trends have jumped your shark?
I love the feathered friends and woodland creatures still....
But skulls and wings are done for me.

Flat stickers --- they are all in my daughter's craft bin now and she loves them. :) I guess I need to show her how to use rub-ons too? I barely ever use them because they are a pain. Only if it screams to me that its absolutely essential for a LO I'm doing and I MUST use it... then I'll put up the hassle.

I still like the woodland creatures but that could be because I live in the middle of a woods. I am so over flat stickers and the glitter paper.

Re: What trends have jumped your shark?
Words. No seriously - it always seemed like such a great idea to buy embellishments preprinted with words or phrases, but half the ones I have just don't fit with anything I want to say. Now I'll think twice about buying something if there's a word on it because I already have too many words. Of course, this is doing wonders for my budget since it's almost impossible to find a sheet of stickers, rubons, or even a package of chipboard embellishments without some kind of word or phrase.
