I'm a business development manager for a small, woman owned, local staffing agency!

I stay home part time, which I just started this summer and am loving it, even though the only reason that happened is because my MIL was our daycare, but passed away unexpectedly. So, the other 20 hours of the week, I was lucky enough that my awesome boss arranged things for me at work so I could keep my job as the assistant for a substance use disorder coordinating agency for 6 counties in Michigan.
I'm a software implementation specialist and business process analyst for the construction market. I've been doing this for the last 15 years. I didn't get to do the SAHM thing, as I was generally the major bread-winner through both of my first marriages.

I am a social worker. I work with high risk children and youth in a treatment foster care program. I have 4 foster families and about 10 kids I work with. My dream job is to be a SAHM...really.

I am going to school to be an elementary teacher. I hope to teach Kindergarten or 1st grade. I will be doing my internship in the fall. Can start teaching a year from now! Very excited!
Well, I am a Cosmetologist but have been a SAHM for a couple of years. But, while dh is laid off, I am a Teacher's Aide and work at a grocery store.
I'm a product consultant at Sephora inside JCPenney's and a fitness instructor.
I am an assistant in a self contained classroom for emotionally disturbed and autistic kids. I was a SAHM until my youngest went into elementary school. After volunteering so much they hired me. I just kind of fell into the job I have now and LOVE it!

I'm retired now. When I worked I was a judicial administrative assistant/paralegal for a circuit judge and at night worked as a medical transcriptionist from home.

I'm a Certified Pharmacy Technician - I love my job most days. Hopefully, in a couple of weeks I will be transferring out of the pharmacy and to the Emergency Room to work on medication profiles for patients that are being admitted....

I'm a graphic designer, and I've been lucky to be able to work from home for many years. I started out working at a local newspaper as a paste-up artist during the early 70s. This is where I met my wonderful dh. I later became an ad layout artist and worked at the newspaper until we had our first child, and then I became a SAHM. In the early 90s when our kids were older and the advertising and design world starting migrating toward computers, we got our first Mac and I proceeded to teach myself how to use it and how to use the ad creation software program to create ads for the newspaper. While the kids were in school I was at home with the manuals and samples of newspaper ads and fonts and software programs and taught myself it all. I set up a whole system with keyboard shortcuts and even learned some scripting to make the whole process efficient. It was such a wonderful learning experience. Once I got it all figured out, I then taught each department at the newspaper how to create ads on their Macs. DH and I set up the whole network and all the workstations ourselves. Once all that was running smoothly, I taught myself how to scan in artwork and photographs and how to do image editing in Photoshop. I read books and newsletters and practiced over and over, and I fell in love with it all. After that I started to do graphic design for a few different clients, designing and creating newsletters, flyers, booklets, brochures, etc. on my Mac. One of my clients had a business newspaper that I designed and created from cover to cover four times a year. I loved it. I don't really do much work anymore as we are no longer with the newspaper, but I still have the one client and she sends me jobs every so often.
So you can see why I immediately fell in love with digi scrapping. I have loved designing and being creative since the day I was born, and have been paper scrapping and rubber stamping and embellishing my way thru life. So last year when I discovered digi I immediately added it to the things I love to do. I am so happy and grateful for my wonderful dh who understands my need to be creative and is so supportive of my addiction, and is happy seeing me either in a pile of papers and punches and glue dots and glitter, or in front of my monitor for hours pushing pixels around.
