DH got me a new lens for my D60, a huge ACOT gift card, and the Expression! Wooohoo! I am stalking AC Moore for the L Letterpress kit so I can get it with the Christmas money I got from my mom.
What lens??? :) Sounds like fun! That Letterpress kit will be awesome!

Re: Christmas Gifts
I wish I could have gotten my sister a Cricut, but she uses mine when we scrap together. I have the regular Cricut, not the Expressions, so you got lucky! I bet you love it! I received a scrapbook and some scrap paper, but everything else was non-scrap-related gifts, perfume, clothes, a waterpik, etc. Had a good Christmas, though.

Re: Christmas Gifts
I wrote a little list for my husband so he could pick off of it. But I think he bought everything on the list. paring knife, levi's jeans, measuring cups, measuring spoons (that don't have the measurements painted on), gc to macy's, and a Cricut Expression! Okay, I only put that on at the last second incase that is what he really wanted to buy me, but really...everything on the list! I love him, and think he's crazy at the same time!! :-D

Re: Christmas Gifts
It's funny - I wrote a fairly short list... including the link to my wishlist here and very strong suggestions to get GC to ACMoore or Michaels, plus a list of scrappy stuff - and I told him to take the list into one of the stores and show it to one of the ladies working there and she would take him directly to it. Now - both my birthday and Christmas are in December, so the same list was good all month. I did not get anything scrappy related from dh. He got me a new laptop, MarioKart and Need for Speed for the Wii, with a new controller and charger for it. He also got me a couple of movies. My Mom is the only one who gave me something scrap related - a cute storage bag she found that has drawers in it. It's adorable and I love her so much for realizing how important scrapping is in my life!

Re: Christmas Gifts
Well I got tons of stuff, though nothing scrappy - nothing from DH as we're using gift & bonus $ to buy a laptop (1st time either of us will have owned/used one!). Mostly clothes from MIL, mostly collectibles (a couple new-to-me Wedgewood pieces) or cat things from my folks, and $ from the grandmother & uncle. Oh and Rob Thomas' new CD (which I've been dying to get) from BIL! He shares my musical taste much more than DH, which has always been fun. So that's definitely one of my favorite gifts!

I'm really bummed about a shirt MIL got me though - the background is that they are *not* pet people, and we have 2 cats and no human children and no plans to have human children (i.e. to give them grandkids that are in the same country as them - they have 2 are in Malaysia & 2 in Bosnia!). At one point they didn't even really acknowledge the cats if they were here & saw them. But over the years that has changed & they've bought me some cat decor and a necklace. So, MIL gives me a really nice sweatshirt this year that says "Cats are Family Too" - ! :) It's size M, looks ok when I hold it up, so I wash it. Changed into it when I got home from work today and it barely fits! :( As in too small to wear over a turtleneck and the arms are a tad short (though I usually push them up to 3/4 anyway). I'm so bummed, I can't exchange it & now I won't be able to wear it much & definitely won't be able to put it in the dryer for long at all.

Pez - bummer about the shirt. Maybe could you check the label, and find it online, then get it in "L"?

Re: Christmas Gifts
I didn't get anything scrappy, which is how I like it, because I'm too picky. LOL DH and I don't exchange gifts - we usually get something we want for the house. We don't know yet what we're getting. LOL My 10yo DS got me a Target GC (he knows what I like!). I got some nice things from DH's family, including a cute shirt from Ann Taylor Loft, although it doesn't quite fit right.
