2010 Scrapping goals
Soooooo, has anyone thought about their scrapping goals for next year yet?

Mine are:
1. Use some of this stash of mine - I have 3 full storage cubes stuffed w/paper plus another banker box of paper and 4 cropper hopper paper holders filled with paper too. Got to get rid of some of this stuff!!!!
2. I'll end this year w/60 LOs, so I'd like to double it!
3. Stay organized
4. Experiment!

*I'd like to do 20 layouts each month.
Breaking it down - 10 layouts for clients and 10 for myself.

*Keep my scrapbook room organized and half-way clean.

*Use more of the supplies that I have.

Re: 2010 Scrapping goals
I definitely want to get more scrapping done this year than last. I would love to get at least 100 layouts completed.

I want to use up more of my stash.

I would like to create more cards and papercraft items for gifts.

Yes, I have. I want to experiement with several new techniques and products. I plan to do this at least once a month. In addition to this, I am going on a no buying spree for at least 3 months.

I am shooting for 10 LOs a month. I know some I'll do more, and some less.

Re: 2010 Scrapping goals
Probably only goal will be to complete my dd's wedding album. She made me promise that I won't work on the "hard" one (paper version), without her, which will mean a trip to Cali this spring, with enough time for us to power scrap. I can do as many digi layouts as I want until then.

Re: 2010 Scrapping goals
I'd like to scrap, period! I got 2 done this past month and that was after an 8 month dry spell! Family drama got in the way of any creativity. If I think about it, it overwhelms me - because there is so much I need to do. So I just want to sit down and do some - without putting any pressure on being perfect - maybe scraplift a bunch just to get some done. I have enough scrapping supplies to last a few years and need to stop buying and get my arse in gear!

I love your thinking!!!! Me too! haha! I doubled what I did last year, so for 2010 I want to double what I did in 2009! I am saying break 80 layouts, and shoot for 10 projects. I'm not including cards, cos I make them all the time, whether I want to or not! haha! As Jan, I want to use up some stuff I have without buying a whole lot of new stuff...and staying away from any of Laura's challenges! hahah!

Well, I love goals but hate resolutions. I feel like I always break them. This year is to just enjoy scrapping!

My goal is to learn some new techniques, use more sketch layouts, and get as much completed as I possibly can. I'm so far behind!

Re: 2010 Scrapping goals
Behind......I'm so far behind it is unbelievable!!!! Then my mother stacks upon stacks, three full boxes of photos and all kinds of things to go in scrapbooks.

Wow, everyone saying 100 layouts got me to thinking how many I've done this year. I need to count tomorrow. Probably at least 80. But I'll have to count. When I count tomorrow I'll have to edit this. I like setting goals.

If I've done 80 then I really need to try for 120 for next year.

I also want to try to expand into altering objects more. I've done my first two mini-albums, done more cards then I have ever done, and now working on altering a box. I haven't gotten to James' Kaiser Tic Tac Toe Board. Sounds like a good first project. I need to expand some of my techniques and difficulty.

Re: 2010 Scrapping goals
- Begin and complete my Dad´s 90th birthday album. (And finish two albums from last year - almost done!)
- Organize the many online photos from last year and decide which to print.
- Start learning to use PhotoShop 8 (never even used one of the previous versions!). It will be completely new to me!
- Then start thinking about what comes next - photos from grandson´s 1st birthday, trip to national parks in Utah from last summer!

Most of this I can begin after March when my daughter brings the paper etc from the States! But I should start working on organizing photos soon. It´s too hot here right now to think about doing much of anything yet!

Re: 2010 Scrapping goals
I try not to set definite goals because it stresses me too much, especially if I cannot reach the goals... Which I usually can't because I set the bar way too high for myself! But, I just looked through my gallery and I only completed 74 LO's last year, thought it was over a hundred! So, as long as I can do more than last year, I will be happy. I would also like to finish a few of the projects I am in the middle of! That would give me a whole lot more space (which would be another help). I recently organized myself big time by getting the CM Daisy Racking System.

I want to enjoy the year with less stresses so I plan on doing what I can do when I can do it....maybe using up some of huge amounts of supplies I have stashed in my scraproom. I want to just take my time being creative....no deadlines.

Re: 2010 Scrapping goals
My only goal (resolution) is to become more disciplined when it comes to my photos. I wait so long to get them off computer, I have to remember back to what we were doing, etc. I would love to think that after an event or outing, I get pics off right then, print or develop, and maybe, and thats a BIG maybe, not fall so far behind. When that happens, I feel pressure doing the layouts, and I have such a passion for scrapping, I hate to feel like that.

Re: 2010 Scrapping goals
I'm not really making any resolutions for the new year's scrapping. I completed 118 projects this past year, which included layouts, artwork, cards. I'd like to do about the same amount again, but increase the amount of artwork I do. We'll see how things go. I may do more, or less, but as long as I am enjoying it, it will be fine.
