Challenge #5: I scream, you scream we all scream for ice-cream!!


For this challenge you first need to pick a favorite ice-cream flavor. Now let that ice-cream flavor be your inspiration for your color choice(s) for your layout!



Here is Sus's (suslvgeo) layout. She asked her son what his favorite ice-cream flavor was and he said "Cotton-Candy". Way to sneek pink in there Mom! I love this layout, see how cool something inspired by ice cream can turn out? This is what Sus said, "See what Cole gets---a layout with pink in it when he choses an ice cream that has pink. LOL"

I remember up until I was 13 or 14 Baskin & Robbins had a black ice cream......and oh it was my very favorite......Licorice!!! Yummy!!!


But since I can no longer have my favorite ice cream I choose between Blue Bell Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Blue Bell Cookies and Cream.....


If it ain't Blue Bell it ain't Ice Cream!



Remember where ice cream comes from? Well I thought I'd sort of remind you, !

Yep, a cow......but not beef cattle like I have. Pictured is Angel and Lexie. They both represent the color extremes in Santa Gertrudis. Angel is called a yellow and Lexie is the ultimate perfect color of deep deep cherry red. Most aren't as deep as Lexie. Angel is Lexie's dam and Lexie is the oldest of four calves all heifers of which Lexie is the only one not a full sister. This was the first time since Lexie was born that I thought Lexie looked just like Angel except for color! They always have looked so different. In personality Lexie is very different!



Clear tiles at the bottom say Angel & Lexie. Underneath I wrote: Mother and Daughter Always!

I tried for colors of black and shades of brown to resemble cookie dough.
