so you ever wonder how to get ALOT of photos on a 1 or 2 page spread~ instead of having to do like 5-6 pages to get all those pics from 1 birthday scrapped! well here is a few suggestions:
1. print your photos smaller than normal, like 3x5 or 2x4 instead of 4x6 or 5x7....or you could crop them in really close like this...
http://www.acherryontop.com/gallery_vie ... 484,,74681
2. print 1 large photo for your main focus and print all the other photos smaller...like this
http://www.acherryontop.com/gallery_vie ... 397,,81186
3. use a postage style frame and put all the pictures in it...like this

http://www.acherryontop.com/gallery_vie ... 11,,114532
4. do a photo blocking LO....like this {all the photos are the same size}

Thanks for that! I am one of those that likes to include so many pictures of an event...just can't let any of those cute ones get away! Using lots of pictures is definitely easier in digi scrapping since it is so simple to resize to exactly the space you want to fill. I have a lot more trouble with the paper scrapping. Seems like I spend so much time reformating the pics to a smaller size before I print them. But thanks again for these awesome tips!

Great layouts Angie...I've been loving using lots of little photos on my layouts too...sometimes a series of photos tells a good story, you know?
and other times, I'll use a few small photos along with one larger spotlight photo
I just think it keeps my albums interesting to have lots of different styles of layouts!

Thanks for the great ideas! I have trouble scrapping more than one picture
I've never done a layout with that many photos - I think maybe I've used 3 or 4, but that's it. TY for the inspiration!
I love to use Becky Higgins sketches - her older ones always have tons of pictures.
Here are a few examples:
of course, I tend to shove many many pictures on all my pages.

I love multi photo layouts. But most of mine are two pagers.

When I paper scrap, I nearly always do multi-photo layouts. I feel like I'm wasting my supplies if I don't. LOL! I agree, Becky Higgins' sketches really help, as do colorblocking templates.
Here's one with the colorblocking template:
With digi scrapping, I feel more free to do single photo layouts, but it is also super easy to do multi-photo layouts! One of the best places I have found to get free multi-photo templates is www.simplyyin.blogspot.com. She is amazing!
