I have a lot of Making Memories scrapbook paint. I don't really see it being sold anymore, so what paint do you buy for your chipboard albums or layouts? If you know a specific brand name, please give it.
Thanks
I usually just use palin old acrylic paint...I think it is Folk Art of Apple Barrel.
Ditto Cindy. They usually go on sale at Michaels and AC Moore for 3/$1.00. Stock up than! MM paint is a bit thicker and has a little better coverage (because it's thick) but other than that, the Folk stuff is good and comes in a ton of colors.
I used to be a "celebrity cherry", but now I'm in re-hab...... Holy Carp!
I just looked at mine and I've got Americana by DecoArt, FolkArt by Plaid and Delta Ceramcoat. I'm pretty sure I bought all of them at either Michael's or JoAnns.

Mostly Folk Art - I also get it when it's 3/$1.
I have all Ranger Paints, distressed and regular acrylic that has daubers on top. I really like having the daubers because I can get texture on a surface. One can also open it up and use brushes.
With all the posts I going to try some of those mentioned because I love the price and there is a consensus of opinion.

Thanks, ladies. I'm sure they will have a sale soon!
I just bought some this weekend ( to do a page I am trying to post) it was Folk Art. I also just got some old acrylic to do a school project...didn't luck out on it being on sale though!!!
I use apple barrel from Joanns
I use the Deco art/Folk Art that is at Hobby Lobby! The colors are really vibrant!

i like folkart brand. not the apple barrel, tho. apple barrel seems to have less pigment and takes more layers to cover like i want it to.

i've found that after a few months of not using it, making memories paint is no good.

Which is exactly why I'm looking for alternatives.

Not a big paint user but maybe I'll have to try some... especially at that price!

I'm like most of the previous posters--FolkArt, Ceramcoat, or Apple Barrel acrylics. all from Walmart. THe price can't be beat--some is less than $1 a bottle now, some slightly higher. At that price if it dries up at that price, mehhhh...
