There are five temporary slots available for a one month trial on the CGE Design Team. Requirements are to create 3 layouts or hybrid projects per month and post them to at least three galleries of your choice. I usually create 2 new kits per month, as well as products for professional photographers (actions, templates, etc).
After the first month, if you find that you like working with my products and can fulfill the monthly requirements, a permanent spot on the team will be offered to you.
Some of my team members have been with me for nearly 5 years and we've become close friends. So if you are looking for a long-term position with an established designer and a team of terrific women, then this is it.
All inquiries should go to kim (at) cgessentials (dot) com and include the following:
(1) link to your most complete layout gallery
(2) username and link to any forum you participate in regularly
Thank you!!!

Wish I did more digi, cause I would. Sounds like a lot of fun.
What a cleverly designed ad!! Good luck!
Sounds like fun, but I'm no artist!

OK - that's just plain fun!!! Good luck to everyone that applies!
I have one question. I've noticed in these calls they usually want you to post to more than one gallery. Does that mean you have to be involved in the associated message board too? Or just the gallery?
Thanks!
Thanks!
I've never been on Kim's personal team, but I LOVED working with her stuff when I was on the CT here. If you have any doubts, go take a look through her store. Yummy stuff!
As a CT member, it's not usually required that you be active on the boards for the places you post your layouts. However, I will say, the more active you are, the more attention your layouts get and that's what it's all about from a designer's point of view, right? So, even if it's not required, running by and posting a comment or so in those forums or adding praise to a few layouts in those galleries would be beneficial. NOTE: I DO NOT speak for Kim in giving this answer, just from my general experience........

Marci is correct. I don't think most communities require you to participate in the forums and the gallery. However, it's often been noted as "drive-by" or "post & run" when you just post your layout and don't bother commenting on other layouts in the gallery. We all enjoy a positive comment and it only takes a moment to do that.

That makes total sense. I wanted to make sure I understood the time commitment involved (I'm pretty heavily invested in the "community" here but not elsewhere) before I thought much more about it.Kim2002 wrote:Marci is correct. THANK YOU for your answer!!!
Awww, Kim, I would love to do this, if I wasn't so swamped with school and the two design teams I'm on! Best of luck with your call and ladies, you will love all of Kim's designs, so if you have always wanted to be on a CT, go for it!:-D

Kim's designs are absolutely fabulous! I wish I had more time to scrap, I'd be SO ON this!

Well said Kim - thank you!!
Good Luck with your call; your designs are fabulous!
Eeek!! What an awesome opportunity! I used to drool over Kim's designs and WISH I could be apart of that CT! Since I am on CT here I get to play with them, but if I wasn't you can be sure I would be all over that opportunity! Good luck ladies!

I am kinda dumb but can someone tell me how to send a link so they can see my gallery.
Just go over and call up your gallery. Look up at the top of your browser. There should be a box with a long line of writing that starts with http://www.acherryontop.com/gallery_show/ etc...... Highlight the entire line. Right click and choose copy. Then go to your email and paste.scrappin44 wrote:I am kinda dumb but can someone tell me how to send a link so they can see my gallery.

Thanks everyone for your applications. The positions have been filled - some by our wonderful ACOT members.
