Ohhhhh that is bad! I rubbed my eyes once after cutting jalapenos for canning salsa. My finger tips and under my nails even burned! I know, I know, they say to wear gloves when cutting them up....

I have done the jalepeno thing too. I wash my hands good after handling them but sometimes I can rub my eyes hours later and it still burns.

hmm.. never knew garlic juice would sting! Good to know! Esp since my dh loves food with garlic and wants me to start cooking with it more!!!

Lemon Juice always gets me. Esp when I seem to be sitting around people that drink water and add lemons.. I'm always some how in their projected path when the squeeze!!!


And Ondrea LOL!!!! That's the first time I've heard that about the jalapeno elsewhere. I must be under rock to not heard of that joke!
