I have! I have! Im almost done! just the hard people - DH, MIL, FIL left. and a couple things for the kids, but Im planning to wait til black friday to finish up. We have a lot of birthdays in Oct/Nov and Im done all of them too!
I just about have my whole christmas done. I not a fan of shopping during the holidays.
I only have one stocking stuffer left to buy for dd, then I need to take care of dh. We don't usually seem to start our shopping for each other until later in the season. Other than that, I've got everybody taken care of! I like to get started early.
We're not big into luxurious Christmas mornings anyway. IMO, kids and adults with too much "stuff" take it all for granted and don't appreciate what they have.
We don't know what we are getting our parents yet either. They have everything they need and don't have very many wants anymore! They usually say they just want a nice family photo.

Have not even thought about it and I usually have a lot done by now.
Dh and I probably won't exchange this year. We're going on a cruise with my family for my bro and sil's 25th wedding annicersary in March. It's 6 days, and it's me, dh and ds, so it's not going to be cheap, plus we have to fly to FL to pick up the ship. My mom is my next big expendature, and she's DONE! She needed batteries and some work done on her golf cart, so we paid that bill.. WAY more than we normally spend.
I'm still trying to figure out my "Christmas craft" for this year. I always make something small (and easy) that I make a bunch of and give one to everyone and if I see someone that I normally don't buy for, I always have extra's on hand for them. Any idea's?

I used to be a "celebrity cherry", but now I'm in re-hab...... Holy Carp!
I've started a list - but haven't started shopping yet. I need to get a jump on it or I might be one of those last minute shoppers out on Christmas Eve....

no way! I'm actually waiting for my dd's school to start the catalog fundraiser this week because there is some stuff in there that I'd like to get. Not crappy stuff either, normal stuff like cookbooks and silicon bake wear, home decor... even those photo-printed-canvas things! I'll have my shopping done and support the school all at once.
Geez - and here I thought you were asking if everyone had their Halloween candy bought! And no, I don't have any Halloween candy yet!
I wonder, sometimes, if we ever give God a headache.
I've started buying for the grandkids and some nieces. I think dh and I will just get a Wii. We have one xmas celebration on Dec. 7th and another on the 20th.
We are leaving on the 22nd for California to spend xmas with my daughter and her family - so I need to get much more done that I have.
I am doing alot of baskets this year for the adults and older nieces, along with preparing a bunch of meals to freeze to give out in styrofoam coolers for my brother (who is not working) and some of my nieces that love home cooked meals.
We're going for a practical theme. I still spoil the grandkids, though!!!

Not yet and I don't even want to think about it. Money is tight this year, so I want to get all the kiddies done first. Then we'll see about my adult family members. I enjoy watching the kids open up their presents, its so magical.
I started about a month ago. I finished with my mom and over the weekend I started for my better half, as I like to call him. Yes, we're really cutting back this year. He was laid off last February and hasn't found another job yet, so there isn't much extra to go around. Regaurdless, it'll be a wonderful Christmas. It'll be interesting to see how the stores handle the recession.

We are most definitely cutting back. I have already started, but mostly just a few things for nieces and nephews and the girls.

For sure cutting back this year. I'm hoping I'll find some stuff out in Vegas, if not, I'll get to shopping after my trip out there. But for the most part, people are gonna be getting some homemade calenders from me. It's cheap and easy and totally cute!
I'm an early shopper too. I like to be done by the end of November cuz once December hits, it's just too crazy.

oh yes, I am definitely cutting back this year too. We cut back last year and this year is going to be more of the same. But we do Christmas and Hannukah, so DD gets a zillion presents. She gets 8 for Hannukkah, a couple of santa gifts, a stocking and a couple of parent gifts. and that's just from us! I try to keep the vast majority of them small though. most of her hanukkah gifts are under $10. Ive been picking stuff up on sale and clearance for months now. I do need to get on the ball with my christmas crafts though. Ill go into that in full swing after Halloween.
I'm making Mom a calendar and a minibook about her 70th birthday party. Other than that, I have a few things I didn't give last year - so they are good to go. I can't start shopping until Black Friday, cause I gots no bucks. I will do most of my shopping (what little I can do this year) in December.
