I feel so behind already. I usually have so much more done by this time. I hate leaving it to the last minute plus I can't afford to do that. Better start doing some this payday. How is everyone else doing? Are you all cutting back this year?

Have not bought one thing. Usually I have at least started by now. Yes, we are cutting back. Have 2 daughters that usually get a very, very nice Christmas, going to be telling them to lower their expectations.

Not yet.. Making some things though.. I probably won't till Black Friday..well... I say that..but may start sooner lol.. Just haven't yet.

I've got about 25% of mine done so far. Not too shabby. Hoping to get Black Friday off so I can get some great deals!

dh and I aren't doing gifts, my fam isn't talking to me, don't exchange w/ his family - so we are good!

I might go out on Black Friday - just for me! But it's no fun when you are by yourself pushing people over.

I bought for all the little great nieces and nephews when KayBee was going out of business. I also made a few gifts for the adults. Haven't shopped for dh or my 2 sons yet.

My nephew is done, but he's not even one yet, so that was easy. My sister wants a scrapbook, so I'm working on that.

We went on an expensive vacation this year, so I'm trading in my credit card points for gift cards that I can use to buy presents with. It seems like everyone just keeps getting poorer and poorer in our family. And the kids and cousins don't want toys anymore...so they end up with gloves and scarves or slippers for Christmas. C'mom...how many of those do you need every year?? lol

Very little. Have put Wii Fit Plus on layaway at K-mart for me and my hubby. Have ideas for everyone, just have to wait till a little money comes in. But atleast I have a game plan this year.. last year I had no idea what to get anyone!!!!

I have started!
The kids are poor this year so we are helping with the grandchildren.
They wrote their Santa lists and have mailed them so that helped to know what each one wants.
Hopefully this will take some stress off the parents!

I'm doing great so far! Not quite 50% done with everything. I'm making a list and sticking with it! I was at a craft fair this weekend and bought some adorable teacher gifts. I decided to do those first this year since I always scramble to do those last minute.

I have started buying stuff for my nieces and nephews. I hit Target clearance and bought them all swimming pool toys. I spent $73 but it was 75% off so it was worth more and looks like I bought really expensive gifts. My MIL received a Cricut this last year so I am going to give her a huge package of cardstock and chipboard from my personal stash. So that won't be a big expense from my pocket. I am also making cookbooks for my mom and MIL and can use supplies I already have for that. I did buy my dad a John Deere yard ornament thingie. As for my daughter, we are going to get her a Webkin and a few little things. Dh and I won't exchange this year.


Christmas gets so expensive. The gifts and all the food for all the Christmases. I am going to try to let all my friends know that I will do their Christmas baking for a small fee. I hope they take me up on it.
