Well, the interviewer liked my credentials. She is going to show her boss 3 of the applications, but she likes that I have work experience on the brokerage side of importing. If he wants to go that route in hiring someone, then they will call me back for an interview with him on Friday.

Congrats on the interview... first off you should send a thank you note to the person you did meet with .and if you are not called back pr Friday (although I am sure you will) CALL Monday and let them know you are still interested should something else open up...I landed the best job ever I was not called in for a second interview they hired another person and most would give up but... I wrote notes and called and just let them know thatI was very interested and to please keep me in mind should another position open up..some weeks later I received a call and an offer! I loved my job but... the money wasn't great so had to leave after a few years... I knew this bfore hand but the work was the best! I still cry over having to leave....someday maybe I can get another similar job.

That's great! I'm sure I don't have to tell you this, but make sure you follow up with a thank you note - it does go a long way! Just be sure to remind them why YOU are the candidate they are looking for. Just speaking with my recruiter hat on!!!!!
