I work in a grocery store so I buy stuff just about every night when I get off. I buy a lot of stuff I don't need...seeing all that food all day makes one very hungry. I see a lot of things I normally would not see if I were just shopping. It is an ethnic store so I see lots of interesting things that I just have to try.
I do a big trip about every three weeks and get DH to pick things up on his way home if I need stuff during the off weeks. It works out with us being the only two needing to be fed!
Once every few weeks. If we run short of something, we run to the mini-mart 8 miles away.
I wonder, sometimes, if we ever give God a headache.
I do my big bulk shopping once a month then I only need to pick up milk and bread weekly.

When we are home and living in our house, I go once or twice a month except for milk runs. But, when we are on the job and living in the camper, I go just about every other day.
I usually go twice a week. My kids eat a ton of fruit so I'm always going back to the store!
My goal is once a week - we eat a lot of fresh fruits and veggies, so we couldn't get by on less often. Of course I actually shop 2 - 3 times a week, because it's not possible to get everything in one trip apparantly. My favorite is when I walk in from the grocery store with bags in my hand and I hear "We're out of ____."
I usually do the "big trip" once a month. Of course, we do have to run to the store to pick up the everyday incidentals like milk, bread, eggs.....

I go a couple of times a month except for a few things I might need in between like milk and bread.

Once a week. Updating veggies and fruits when needed.
Once a month at Costco to load up on paper supplies and meat.

I go once a week. We're an hour away from Walmart, so it's not something I do more frequently.
Back when it was just my mom and me, we'd go probably once a month. And only spend $130! I'd sure like to know what the heck we were eating back then!

Once a week.
If I had a great neighborhood grocery I would go more than that and use fresher ingredients. I wish I had a fresh produce/vegetable area that I could utilize but, alas, there are none around me. How sad, considering where I live.

I'm such a bad meal planner (damn that Let's Dish's prices went up so much!), I usually am hitting a store a couple of times a week for something I forgot during the once a month "big shop" that I do.
I used to be a "celebrity cherry", but now I'm in re-hab...... Holy Carp!
Hmmmm..... Grocery shopping is something I love to do. The planning and saving dollars is a must for me. There are somethings though I won't do without, like a really good Olive Oil, Good Quality Spices, and a better quality flours. I'm into some organics and not on others.
I usually do one big shopping a month then pick up staples about once every 4-5 days. Like meat so I don't have to freeze. The only meat I don't buy is Beef. We put our own beef in the freezer. We are also working to gear up to start feeding our own grain fed beef this spring to sell at Farmers Markets. We are 50 miles to the nearest Farmers Market at the ranch so until we start selling beef there I don't get to go unless I'm at our home in Angleton. I prefer to buy my veggies and fruit from the Farmers Markets, they just taste so much better!
