How often do you grocery shop?
I try to go as little as possible...make that twice a month....unless I have to grab a few things and then I try to make dh go do that.
Back when I was eating microwavable meals in a box from the freezer, I would go about every 10 days to 2 weeks. Now that I'm eating fresh food I go every couple of days, or sometimes a few days in a row and then a break. I don't seem to run out of everything at the same time no matter how carefully I plan. And whereas before I got all my frozen meals at Wal-Mart, now I am going to 3 grocery stores depending upon what I need and what's on sale! Sometimes I hit two stores in one day. With the Houston heat, that means for the majority of the year you have to go home right away with the groceries. The grocery store is the last stop when running errands!
I only go a couple of times a month except for a few things I might need in between like milk and bread.
I hate grocery shopping unless my honey is going some place like Fresh Market or Whole Foods...these are fun places to look. I also like Farmer's Markets as the veggies etc. always look so pretty and there are other things to look at usually.

I don't have a set schedule, but it probably works out to twice a month for the big trips. Then it seems I'm always running out at least once a week for items like milk, eggs, bread, etc...

If it was just me I could get away with once a month; but we go once a week.

Right before my two monthly paydays, I sit down and make menus for 2 weeks-worth of dinners. Then we hit the grocery stores (around here, Wal-Mart and Aldi's) and that way, the only thing we have to run in to pick up is milk and other perishables that can't be bought and kept for 2 weeks at a time. I find that if we do this, I don't have to think about what's for supper and I stay out of Wal-Mart, which frankly saves me BIG money!! I also hit the local grocery store in the town where I work about 2x a month when they have a good meat sale so that we keep the freezer well-stocked (their meat is cut on site and much better than WM's)

I try to do 1 big shopping trip a month, but that hasn't happened in a long time because we always seem to need something. I go more often lately.

I do the "main" haul once a week, and then pick up stuff as I need it...some weeks, it feels like I am there every day!

We go once a week, but may stop for milk and bread in the middle of the week.
Actual grocery shopping about every 2 weeks, but I find myself there alot for small things i forgot, or if I decide to make something special that requires thiings I don't have on hand.

as little as possible. I usually go once a week on my lunch break at work to buy stuff to have for lunch at work, and send DH to do the home shopping.
