**Mini Shelf Class Here!**
Hello ladies! Are you ready to follow along? This will be fast paced and I know many of you will be coming back later to do this class.

Remember to take care of all the pre-class instructions first! You can find them HERE.

Stacy, you don't have to wait long because here is my completed shelf! Of course the shelves done in other papers will look different but I think this project is so adorable that it would be impossible for it to NOT look great!

Re: **Mini Shelf Class Here!**
First we are going to work on the shelf. Hopefully you all saw the pre-crop preparation post that instructed you to paint the edges and some panels of your shelf and the edges of the book pages. If you have not done this you will definitely want to do it before moving on! It will clearly hold up the rest of the class for you but I will be moving fairly quickly and it will be impossible to finish this project in the time allotted anyway.|

After your shelf pieces have dried you will start to cover them. Choose three patterns from your papers (you can see my choices below) and decide which will cover the back panel and the inner and outer sides of the side panels.

I hope she can join us too! At least she will be able to read the article later if she misses it.

That is why I haven't started mine.
I can't figure out what color to paint it.
I am doing it in BoBunny Abbey Road!

Re: **Mini Shelf Class Here!**
I like to use my ATG gun for everything! You could easily use Mod Podge or another wet adhesive or any strong tape runner. I prefer dry adhesive because it makes less of a mess and I don’t have to wait for it to dry!

You can use several methods to cover the panels with paper. The one I used was to simply put adhesive around the entire edge of the shelf panel, then lay the paper down, and then use a craft knife to cut around it. I very lightly sanded any bloopers or funny edges. You could also trace the panel onto the paper itself, cut it out, and then adhere it. It’s up to you!

Cover the INSIDE of the side panels first and remember to cut out the little tab hole. Also cut the tab hole in the back panel. BUT… when you cover the outsides of the side panel do NOT cut out the holes! The way the shelf fits together makes it so that your paper will cover those tabs.

This is so good to know!

And then entire shelf looks like this when assembled:

At a later point you will want to use some good craft or wood glue to permanently glue the shelf together.

It will be much more solid that way!
