So, my VERY frugal friend Beth (who wishes to be an Oscar Mayer weiner....wouldn't you like to be a weiner, too?) and I decided that we are going green with our challenge. We want you take something recycled...from your house, your scraproom, your car, your kids rooms (well...that might get a little ugly ) and use it on a layout. The sky is the limit!
Beth (who is such an amazing scrapper I hate her ) did an amazing layout using some Starbucks trash. (I mean jewels. Really, I do ) Fantastic layout!!!
I recently had a rummage sale with my friend Leslie, and no one purchased the bandana I had for sale (could it have been the $15 price? hmmmm) so I ripped it apart and put it on a layout. the fabric strip through the green paper is the reverse of the wish side.
(sorry about the crooked pic. Did it at the orthodontist office this morning. You wouldn't believe how many people stared at me like I was crazy, taking pictures of something in the parking lot. Obviously not scrapbookers....)
So...any questions? post here. One of us (BETH) will try and answer. I am drinking wine
lol... HEY - great challenge! So glad you're here!
Can I drink with you? I love wine!!
Awesome Challenge!! I am just LMAO about you taking the photos infront of the dentist office!! That's almost as bad as Beth and her red boa from that Cherry Meet up!! You know us scrappers can get some of the oddest looks!!!
This challenge is perfect, b/c I always pick up stuff.. napkins and stuff that everyone else see's as trash! But a napkin from a famous place is something to treasure!!

My Blog: One Krafty Kitty Momma
I think I can do this! I have fabric appliques scavenged from some of dd's baby clothes that are just waiting to be used! Or plastic packaging from Cricut carts that I could cut out and use! Hmmmmmm..........wheels turning.....
I LOVE both of these pages.
Thinking in terms of digital...
I have the ticket from the Sr's National Diving Competition. If I scanned it and made it into a digi element and/or used it as a hybrid element on the page, would that count? Would just using it as the digi element count? I'm actually trying to eliminate paper altogether in true "green" form.
Let me know - I'll get started either way.
