Yuck!!!! That's something between a mother and daughter as far as educating her!
I agree. Too far. Anything my daughter does with her baby in my house, my son wants to do and i KNOW my husband would not allow him to strap daisys on. lol

I dunno. I breastfed my DD until she was a year and a half. My BFF breastfed her son until he was almost 3 and self weaned. She was tandem nursing for a while because she had a second. Her son didnt even know what to do with a bottle when my DD showed him her dolls with bottles. BUT I still think its weird. I mean, I wouldnt think it would be weird to see a girl holding a doll to her breast but the daisies thing? that is just odd. then again, I think the whole dolls who go potty thing is kinda strange too.
I am pro breastfeeding but that to me is going too far! What are they gonna have next, a doll you strap to your belly for 9 months then give birth to?

Better patent that one before the toy people get ahold of it!
I bf all 3 of my kids and my older ones would mimic breastfeeding but they always put the baby on their belly button b/c they had no idea what their nipples were. I thought it was the cutest thing ever. IMO girls shouldn't be made aware of their breasts until they get old enough to grow them...

I am a huge fan of breastfeeding and think we should encourage it as much as possible but really? This does nothing for encouraging it
because the ones who buy it breastfeed or will or would...and the ones who do their children see this and are 'encouraged' by that- my daughters pretended a few times with their dolls but I don't think you need this - I think it is stupid.

I don't like the idea. It's just too much. A little girls pretending because she sees mommy do it is one thing, but to actually have daisy nipples and a sucking doll. That's just sicko to me.
Creepy!

I'm a big promoter of breast feeding...I did all my children and it's not unusual to see a sibling put their doll to their breast like mommy. But it's usually a brief couple moments, then they go on to change diapers, rock, cuddle, push in stollers, etc. This doll with the suckling noises is so uneccessary. The focus is on the sucking and the girl has to put on the vest...I just don't see the point of all that. The focus on playing baby dolls should be learning to love and care for your doll (any type of doll) and that will be done by children in a natural way as they see their mommies and daddies love and play with baby. Let them use their own imaginations, and hang onto their innocence. Nope, I would not buy this either.

I saw it on TV and was kind of grossed out. I know it's a normal function but little girls don't need to grow up quite so fast. They're happy with pretending.

I am glad I have grandsons...I could just see my DH's face when Christmas morning the little girl pulls it out to feed her baby!!!!!
